Description Scarce Boer War (presentation to the Denbigh Hussars) British patented luminous officers marching compass. The compass contained within its own integral brass case with a little bit of age grime (the whole would probably benefit from a clean). The compass appears to be in good working order. The top cover has the makers details stamped into it “MAJOR LEGHS LUMINOUS COMPASS PATENT No 19600” Bneath the siight aperture is engraved “G W Roberts Denbigh Hussasrs from H. G. C. Jan y 1900”. I very good condition commensurate with age.
