Description This listing is for a digital PDF file. Immediately after purchase you can download your file, in either Letter format (used mainly in Canada, the US, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and the Philippines) or A4 (rest of the world). Please note that this design features some backstitches and is not Pattern Keeper compatible. A 1-page (pattern keeper compatible) version of the design is also included. A fun small project that perfectly fits in a circular frame or embroidery hoop! TECHNICAL DETAILS: his design has a stitched surface measuring 89 crosses wide by 89 crosses high, totalling 1632 crosses. Please see the graph below for size and floss estimates. Floss estimates are based on working with two pulled strands (14 – 18-count Aida or 28 – 36-count linen) or one strand (20-count Aida / 40-count linen and higher). It is, of course, up to you how many strands you want to use for your project. A three-cross greyed-out overlap area is found on the 2nd pattern page to help you find your way. This design can be finished however you like: as a wall hanging, in an embroidery hoop, or any other way you think fits the design. I stitched the cover model on some 32-count linen that I hand-dyed with floss of unknown origin (a close match was DMC 902, though that appears to be slightly thinner than the original floss!). If you wish to put your own quote on this design, please refer to the alphabet and numbers on the next page. As this is a monochrome design, you may stitch it with whatever colour (or colours) you wish. If you want to approach the look of the cover, I recommend the following Roxy Floss Co. flosses and linens (all exclusively available through www.evertote.ca in Canada). “Falu Red” is a gorgeous red and would be perfect for this sampler. “Arrowroot” would make for a perfect fabric to stitch on, as would “Porcelain”.
