The cow hide binding is rock hard from ageing.Traces of cow hair is present.The shaft hasn’t got the traditional flare at the butt suggesting this was a throwing spear as well as a stabbing Assegai.Length of spear point: 345mm Length of cow hide wrapping: 210mm Total length of spear: 1430mm
