DescriptionAn early colonial period or earlier short throwing spear generally known as Isijulu. These like most short throwing spears were also used as a stabbing spear or called Iklwa. All were classified as Assegai. The spear point has a long steel shaft adding to the weight for throwing. The binding is a rattan like fibre binding the point to the hardwood shaft.
