Bullock Dagger Medieval possibly Scottish 1350-1550

DescriptionVery rare early bullock dagger with Scottish dirk type blade (now very pitted) and root wood grip. The grip is finely carved with insiced lines and patterns. The pommel is capped with steel finished with a gold nugget. This dagger is the starting point for Scottish dirk collectors. Length of blade: 254mm, length of grip: 118mm, length O/H:383mm, blade width: 30mm.
