Piccole proposte per nuovi pianeti della costellazione Airsoftgun.

Some little proposals about new planets of the Airsoftgun constellation.

SCOPRENDO NUOVI MONDI

Sono numerose le discipline ludico sportive diverse dalle competizioni airsoft, praticate all’estero da parecchio tempo, quasi sconosciute in Italia, ed in cui si possono impiegare le airsoftgun.
Ecco quindi un rapido excursus sull’airsoft alternativo possibile e futuribile, precisando che il mio personale criterio di scelta qui si basa su tre valori:
- sicurezza
- divertimento
- prestazione.

FIELD TARGET
La specialità nasce in Inghilterra negli anni ‘80, ed è praticata utilizzando armi lunghe ad aria compressa. Si tratta di un percorso, realizzato di norma in un contesto naturale, dove il tiratore impegna una serie di sagome abbattibili, sparando in posizione libera o prestabilita.
Le sagome, che sono incernierate, devono essere abbattute con un solo colpo.
Un percorso di Field Target è una passeggiata che alterna la concentrazione del tiro al rilassamento della natura.
La conversione airsoft del Field Target mi pare facile, solo rivalutando bersagli e distanze in funzione delle differenti prestazioni delle ASG, e mantenendone immutato il fascino. A mio avviso, è il modo più efficace di valorizzare gli “sniper” a molla.

KJW KP05: uno strumento robusto per tutte le discipline in cui contino continuità di prestazioni e veloce cadenza di tiro

KJW KP05: a sturdy tool for those who needs reliability and fast shooting rate

INTERNATIONAL PRACTICAL SHOOTING COURSE (IPSC) o TIRO DINAMICO SPORTIVO
Questa specialità nasce negli Stati Uniti d’America, ed è l’evoluzione sportiva delle attività didattiche connesse al tiro da difesa, ed abbina abilità di tiro, precisione e rapidità. La competizione consiste di uno o più percorsi, in ciascuno dei quasi il tiratore impegna una serie di bersagli seguendo un percorso predeterminato e adeguandosi ad una serie di ostacoli e barriere. Le competizioni sono svolte utilizzando armi lunghe o corte, ed il punteggio viene determinato tenendo conto della precisione nel tiro e della velocità di esecuzione.
In Italia i praticanti di questo sport sono riuniti sotto l’egida della Federazione Italiana Tiro Dinamico Sportivo, che nel 2010 ha promulgato un regolamento sperimentale per l’impiego agonistico di pistole softair.

SILHOUETTE SHOOTING
Questo sport nato alla frontiera tra Messico e Stati Uniti ricorda il Field Target, in quanto i bersagli sono dati da una serie di sagome metalliche abbattibili di differenti dimensioni e poste a distanze diverse. Nel Silhouette Shooting l’atleta spara da una postazione di tiro fissa ed utilizzando armi da fuoco sia lunghe che corte.

BOWLING PIN SHOOTING
In questa specialità, praticata in genere con arma corta, due tiratori si confrontano, dovendo abbattere contemporaneamente una serie di bersagli (costituiti da birilli per bowling usati) allineati su una base. Vincitore è ovviamente chi termina la serie per primo.

BENCH REST
Tiro di precisione su bersaglio a lunga distanza effettuato con il fucile, ed utilizzando una postazione in cui il tiratore è seduto e l’arma è poggiata su un supporto (rest).

TIRO ACCADEMICO
Sotto questa denominazione sono comprese le classiche specialità di tiro al bersaglio da poligono con armi lunghe e corte, sia da fuoco che ad aria compressa. Stimo che il tiro a 10 metri con queste ultime sia il più semplice da trasferire nel mondo airsoft

COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING
A mio avviso una fra le più simpatiche nuove discipline di tiro, il Cowboy Action Shooting prevede l’utilizzo di armi lunghe e corte legate all’epopea del West americano, ed utilizzate per ingaggiare più bersagli in modo simile al Tiro Dinamico, ma seguendo una sorta di trama.
Oltre a questo, concorrenti, giudici, organizzatori e possibilmente il pubblico devono indossare un abbigliamento “d’epoca”, e nel caso degli atleti usare anche un nome d’arte consono, trasformando nella massima sicurezza le competizioni in una kermesse country dove tutti sono assieme spettatori e protagonisti.

L’elenco potrebbe allungarsi, ma dovrei includervi specialità troppo tecniche, o che richiedono attrezzature sofisticate ed installate permanentemente.
Derivate da attività esercitate con “real steel”, le pratiche di tiro che ho elencato ai miei occhi offrono numerosi vantaggi, anche trasportandole nell’airsoft.
Tutti questi sport possono essere praticati indifferentemente  all’aria aperta ed in locali chiusi, e necessitano di attrezzature low cost che si possono anche autocostruire con un po’ di fantasia e manualità, senza che siano indispensabili strutture permanenti.
Buona parte di queste attività può essere svolta anche da persone che per età o condizione fisica non possono accostarsi al all’airsoft, inclusi tiratori con handicap motori; ed a mio avviso ricavare sempre per questi appassionati uno spazio condiviso nel mondo delle ASG dovrebbe essere un piacevole dovere già da adesso.
Il fatto che vi siano dei bersagli da colpire od abbattere, se non azzera, riduce molto le contestazioni e di fatto rende l’highlander non più immortale...
Infine, ma non in ordine di importanza, queste attività possono essere svolte “alla luce del sole”, e magari coinvolgendo il grosso pubblico ad eventi e manifestazioni.

Se questo tema è di interesse, vedremo di affrontarlo in maniera più approfondita, a partire dai ferri del mestiere.

DISCOVERING NEW WORLDS

There are numerous recreational sporting disciplines other than airsoft competitions, practiced abroad for a long time, almost unknown in Italy, and in which you can use the airsoftgun.
Here is a quick overview about airsoft possible future alternative, stating that my personal criterion for selection here is based on three values​​:
- Security
- fun
- Performance.

FIELD TARGET
The specialty was born in England in the '80s, and is practiced using air rifles. It is a course, usually created in a natural environment, where the shooter committed a series of collapsible silhouettes, free or mandatory firing positions.
The silhouettes, which are hinged, be felled with one shot.
A tour of Field Target is a walk that alternates between the concentration of the shot to the relaxation of nature.
The Field Target to airsoft conversion seems easy, just reassessing targets and different distances depending on the performance of the ASG, and preserves intact the charm. In my opinion, is the most effective way of enhancing the "sniper" in the spring.

Maruzen APS: una fra le poche ASG per tiro accademico di precisione

Maruzen APS: one of the few ASG for accuracy  competition shooting 

INTERNATIONAL PRACTICAL SHOOTING COURSE (IPSC) or Practical Shooting
This specialty was born in the United States of America, is the sport evolution of  educational activities related to self-defense shooting, and combines shooting skills, precision and speed. The competition consists of one or more paths, in almost each of the shooter committed a series of targets along a predetermined path and adapted to a number of obstacles and barriers. The competitions are carried out using long or short arms, and the score is determined by taking account of the shooting accuracy and speed of execution.
In Italy the practitioners of this sport have gathered under the aegis of the Italian Federation of Practical Shooting, which in 2010 issued an experimental regulation regarding the airsoft guns competitions.

SILHOUETTE SHOOTING
This sport, that was born at the border between Mexico and the United States, remembers the Field Target, as the targets are given by sets of folding metal silhouettes of different sizes and placed at different distances. Playing Silhouette Shooting the athlete shoots from a single location using both long and short firearms.

BOWLING PIN SHOOTING
In this specialty, usually practiced with a handgun, two shooters confronted, having to knock down a series of targets (usually made by used bowling pins) on a line. Winner is obvious that must be those who finish the series first.

BENCH REST
Precision long-distance target shot, using a location where the shooter is sitting and firearm is placed on a stand (rest).

ACADEMIC SHOOTING
This designation includes the classic range target shooting using long and short fire weapons or air weapons. I estimate that the shot at 10 meters with the latter is the easiest to transfer to the airsoft world

The list could be longer, but should include too technical specialties, or require permanently installed and sophisticated equipment.
Derived from activities carried on with "real steel", the practice of shooting that I listed in my eyes have several advantages, by transporting them to airsoft.
All these sports can be enjoyed either outdoors and indoors, and need low cost equipment, that can also be scratchbuilt with a little imagination and dexterity.
Much of this activity can also be carried out by people who by age or physical condition can not approach the airsoft contest and battles, including shooters with physical disabilities, and I think that get a shared space to these fans in the world of ASG should be always a pleasant duty even now.
The fact that there are targets to hit or shoot down, if not zeroing, greatly reduces the complaints and in fact makes no more immortal highlander ...
Last but not least, these activities can be conducted "in light of the sun”, and perhaps by involving the public at large events.
