Purtroppo quando le cose sono fatte bene, vengono copiate e noi in Italia di buone cose ne facciamo tante, una di queste sono i COLTELLI FOX!

Difenditi dalle imitazioni spacciate per originali...

Unfortunately when products are good they're copied and in Italy we have a lot of very good products, one of these are the FOX KNIFES!

Protect yourself against fox knifes replica sold as originals...

 Durante i nostri continui approvvigionamenti di materiale da testare e recensire per Voi lettori di ASC, ci siamo fortuitamente imbattuti in un coltello prodotto dalla FOX che ci è sembrato "strano" e per questo ci siamo messi subito in contatto con la casa produttrice, la FOX, appunto.

Purtroppo i nostri forti sospetti si sono rivelati certezza quando gli esperti della FOX ci hanno risposto mettendoci in guardia da questo coltello, in quando COPIA dell'originale... ma andiamo con ordine.

Il coltello in questione doveva essere il FOX dedicato alla Compagnia Trasmissioni dei Paracadutisti Folgore (RCSTF), poi rivelatosi invece quello destinato a Carabinieri (FX-MIR112).

Difatto, questo poteva rappresentare un banale errore di misconoscimento in quanto i due coltelli risultano per estetica molto simili ma, purtroppo, le cose non si sono limitate a questo.

Una volta entrati in possesso dell'articolo abbiamo inziato a "familiarizzare" con lo stesso, punto fondamentale di ogni test e recensione e già in questa fase, qualcosa ci è sembrato "strano": duro all'apertura, lama ben poco affilata e...la testa della "volpina" del logo al contrario!

Da qui a fotografare il coltello ed inviare le foto alla FOX per una "perizia", il passo è stato brevissimo!

Il responso della Fox è stato quanto ci aspettavamo: "...purtroppo quel coltello non è prodotto dalla FOX a Maniago" e siamo stati pregati di voler rendere pubbliche queste immagini in modo da mettere in guardia i futuri compratori.

Di seguito troverete un book fotografico dove saranno indicati i punti salienti che ci hanno messi in guardia e che ci hanno fatto contattare la FOX. Vi ricordo che essendo repliche, i punti in questione possono variare in qualunque momento e che, per qualsiasi dubbio, prima di acquistare un oggetto falso e dal valore (commerciale e morale) nullo, potete mettervi in contatto con la FOX per chiedere tutte le delucidazioni del caso.

NB. Teniamo a sottolineare che il coltello in questione è stato acquistato da un privato, ignaro del fatto che stesse vendendo una replica del coltello in questione e non l'originale. In Italia esistono numerosi negozi, seri ed affidabili, dove potrete acquistare tranquillamente i vostri coltelli, uno fra tutti la Coltelleria Collini.

La stessa Coltelleria Collini ci informa che, purtroppo, lo stesso fenomeno è presente sui prodotti ExtramaRatio ed invita nuovamente alla prudenza.

 During our continuous supply of equipments to test&review for the ASC readers, we accidentally stumbled into a FOX KNIFE that seem strange and for this reason we decided to contact the FOX.

Unfortunately, our strong suspects were right and the FOX experts told us it was a REPLICA of the FOX KNIFE, but go on with first things first.

This knife had to be the FOX Knife for the Trasmissions Company of Folgore Parà (RCSTF), but indeed it was the one dedicated to the Carabinieri (FX-MIR112).

In fact it could be a little mistake by the seller because the two knifes are very similar but, unfortunately, that was not the only thing.

Once we had the knife in our hands we started to "familiarize" with it, a very important point of all the tests&reviews and at this stage something didn't work: hard to open, not sharp blade and...the fox head logo upset!

So, in a minute we sent our pictures of the knife to the FOX to have a response.

The Fox answer has been the one we thought: "unfortunately that knife is not a FOX knife made in Maniago" and then they asked us to show the pictures to our readers to protect them against bad buy.

Below you will see some pictures where we will show you the points that make us thinking the knife could be a REPLICA or FAKE and that pushed us to contact the FOX. I want underline that being REPLICA or FAKE those points could change at any times and if you are buying a FOX knife that seems strange you can contact the FOX and ask them to help you to know if it's a real Fox knife or not.

NB. We want to underline that the knife has been bought from a pearson who didn't know that he was selling a not Fox original knife. In Italy there are many serious and professional shops where you can buy without problems the Fox knifes you want to, for example the Coltelleria Collini.

The Coltelleria Collini has told us that the same problems is going on the ExtremaRatio products and says to pay attention.
