Ora, il termine UNCLE è solo l'equivalente inglese del nostro zio; per chi negli anni '60 guardava con occhi bambini la televisione in bianco e nero, era la sigla di United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, una organizzazione internazione dedicata alla lotta al crimine, al cui servizio operavano due agenti segreti, interpretati dagli attori Robert Vaughn e David McCallum. Storie ingenue, con pochi effetti speciali, ma affascinanti negli anni di James Bond...

Now the word UNCLE is just meaning the sister of brother of your patrents, but for those that were children in the sixties, watching television in black and white, it was the symbol of the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement, an internal organization dedicated to fighting crime, to whose service operated two secret agents, interpreted by actors Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. Stories naive, with few special effects, but fascinating in the years of James Bond ...

Maruzen ha voluto dedicare a questa serie una replica del tutto particolare, la P38 Detachable

Maruzen wanted to dedicate to this TV series to a very special replica, the P38 Detachable








































































































La replica si basa sulla riproduzione della P38 già in catalogo (un modello che vorrei vivamente poter esaminare di persona, per il bene che ne ho letto), con numerose modifiche sia alle guancette che alla canna. Questo in quanto una serie di accessori (a quel che ho capito, venduti sia a parte, che in un kit) permette di trasformare la pistola in carabina, come avveniva nel telefilm originale.

The replica is based on the Maruzen P38, already in catalog (a model I want to strongly examine by person, for the good that I have read about it), with many changes both to grips and barrel. This is because a number of accessories (from what I understand, both sold separately, that in a kit) lets you turn the gun in rifle, as was the original TV series.








































































Non so dire se questa riproduzione approderà mai ai patrii lidi; son però certo che, se ciò accadesse, non mancherè chi la considererà quale back up, per un set up color nostalgia.

I could not tell if this model will ever land to my peninsula, but I am sure that if that happens, there are some who will regard it as a backup for a set-up colored of nostalgy.
