The Swiss company Luminox has produced and produces a high depth diving Wristwatch, conceived at the request of U.S. Navy Seal.

Grazie alla cortesia del signor Stefano Gulinelli ( nospammad.mhr@libero.it***** - se volete contattarlo, rimuovete nospam e gli asterischi ), collezionista di orologi militari statunitensi, che ho incontrato ad una mostra scambio di militaria, posso presentare un accessorio decisamente tentatore per i softgunners amanti dei setup statunitensi: l'orologio Navy Seal Dive (serie 3000) realizzato dalla svizzera Luminox.
Through the courtesy of Mr. Stefano Gulinelli (nospammad.mhr @ libero.it ***** - if you contact it, remove nospam and the asterisks), a collector of U.S. military watches , who I met at an exhibition of militaria exchange, I present a very tempting accessory for all softgunners lovers of U.S. setup: the Navy Seal Dive watch (Series 3000) produced by the Swiss Luminox.











































L'rologio è stato progettato su richiesta dei Navy Seal, specificamente per impiego in immersione; la casa produttrice ha avuto anche, per cinque anni, la possibilità di fregiarlo col nome e l'insegna di quel reparto speciale della Marina da Guerra statunitense.
Quello qui riprodotto è un esemplare commemorativo della Guerra del Golfo, con un cinturino speciale, al posto di quello di serie in materia plastica elastica di colore nero.
The watch was designed at the request of the Navy Seal, specifically for use in immersion; the manufacturer also had, for five years, the ability to bear the name and insignia of that special U.S. Navy unit's .
The one reproduced here is a Gulf War commemorative edition, with a special strap, instead of the standard black elastic plastic issue.













L'orologio ha la cassa realizzata con polimeri rinforzati da fibra, il fondello in acciaio inossidabile, ed il vetro minerale. Sulle lancette ed attorno al quadrante, sono montati tubicini contenenti una sostanza luminescente (mi è stato detto essere trizio), che permette  la lettura anche in assenza di luce.
The watch has the body made from fiber strengthned polymers , the back plate it is made by stainless steel, and the window has mineral glass. On the clock and around the dial, are mounted tubes containing a luminescent substance (I was told is tritium), which allows reading even in the absence of light.
































L'orologio è impermeabile sino a 200 metri di profondità; la tenuta è assicurata da una doppia guarnizione applicata all'albero della corona.
The watch is water resistant up to 200 meters deep, and the seal is ensured by a double gasket applied to the crown rod.















































































Il cinturino ha il marchio del produttore, e l'insegna stilizzata dei Navy Seal.
