Il plate carrier 6094A prodotto dalla London Bridge Trading è un moderno porta piastre con cummerbund, quindi in grado di trasportare protezioni balistiche laterali oltre alle consuete antero-posteriori.
Paragonare questa replica all' LBT 6094A originale è praticamente impossibile se non per il mero lato estetico. Ma andiamo ad analizzare questa replica, cercando di capire se possa essere una valida alternativa economica per i softgunners “entry-level”. Partiamo subito col dire che il suo nome è “Tactical Molle Recon Plate Carrier Vest” ma è la copia pressochè esatta del modello 6094A della LBT antecendete il 2007: questo è facilmente capibile dalla disposizione dei passanti molle del BIB e la presenza dei due bottoni a pressione sulla patella di chiusura; tutte cose che vedremo in seguito nel dettaglio. Il colore non è proprio in Coyote Brown ma un Desert Tan molto scuro, comunque apprezzabile. The 6094A plate carrier by London Bridge Trading is a modern plate carrier with cummerbund to carry additional ballistic protections on both side. To compare this copy version with the original LBT 6094A is impossible apart the view impact. Let's go analizing this copy, trying to understand if it could be a good economic alternative for “entry-level” airsoft players. Its name is “Tactical Molle Recon Plate Carrier Vest” but it's the exact copy of the LBT 6094A mod. before 2007: you can easlily understand that due the PALS disposition on the BIB and the two snaps on the closure flap, but we will see these things next. The color is not properly Coyote Brown but a very dark Desert Tan, anyway a good color. 
Partendo con l'analisi di questa replica, è necessario dire subito che il materiale con cui è prodotto non è Cordura ma Nylon di consistenza piuttosto molle.
Nelle foto sopra è possibile apprezzarlo aperto, esternamente ed internamente. L'interno è costellato di strisce di Velcro femmina (in eccesso) per un eventuale attacco ad un PACA sottostante. Il porta piaste anteriore è in grado di trasportare finte piastre balistiche di taglia media ed accoglie nel suo contesto il sistema di chiusura a Velcro. Starting analizing this PC we have to say that is not made in Cordura but in High Density Nylon, with a soft consistency. In the picture above you can see it opened, internal and external. The internal side has many female hook-and-loop stripes to attach it to a PACA. The front plate carrier allows carry a medium sized ballistic plate with a hook-and-loop closure system. 
Nella foto sopra è possibile apprezzare il vano porta oggetti, chiuso con Velcro, con all'interno un caricatore da 300bb dotato di mag-pull che ci permette di capire la sua profondità.
Questo vano può essere utilizzato anche per l'inserimento dell'apposita tasca porta-caricatori (3x) prodotta dalla LBT oppure di una fondina. Sul margine inferiore si possono notare i bue bottoni a pressione, peculiari del modello originale prima del 2007 (insieme ai due passanti PALS verticali anzi che obliqui, come nell'ultimo modello). A questo livello però, troviamo il primo problema: la distanza tra le tre fila di PALS risulta errata e i bottoni a pressione sono stati applicati sopra ad un passante ciascuno, rendendoli quindi inutilizzabili. Inoltre, l'errata distanza tra le file, sottopone i PALS stessi ad un continuo stress meccanico quando questi sono occupati dai sistemi di ritenzione delle tasche MOLLE. In the picture above you can see the utility pouch with hook-and-loop closure in the lower part of the front plate carrier, with a 300bb mag inside to understand how deep it is. You can use this pouch to insert a triple-mag pouch made by LBT or an holster. On the lower border you can see two snaps, peculiar to the “before 2007 model” (with the two vertical PALS instead the oblique PALS in the last version) But here we can find the first problem: the distance between the PALS rows is wrong and the snaps are attached on a PALS each so, they are unusable. Besides, the wrong distance between the PALS rows submit the PALS to an high mechanical stress when they're used to attach MOLLE pouches.
La parte interna del porta piastre anteriore presenta una piccola tasca chiusa con Velcro e vari strati dello stesso materiale.

Passiamo quindi al porta piastre posteriore, più semplice di quello anteriore.
Questo consiste in una grossa tasca con apertura inferiore per la piastra balistica e il mega-passante per l'alloggiamento del cummerbund. In alto troviamo la maniglia d'estrazione d'emergenza (cucita accuratamente e con multipli passaggi) e i due passanti a Velcro per il fissaggio del tubo del sistema d'idratazione o dell'antenna. Now go to the back plate carrier, more simple than the front one.
It is a big pouch with a lower opening for the ballistic plate and the big loop for the cummerbund. In the upper part we can see the emergency extraction handle (well-sewed with many turning-on) and two loops with hook-and-loop system to attach the hydration tube or an antenna. 
Il Cummerbund è composto da due emiparti, che si uniscono tra loro al di sotto dell'alloggiamento nel pannello posteriore.
Questa chiusura è dotata di due fasce elastiche che permettono un'ottima vestibilità; è possibile comunque spostare il laccio sui pals ed avere un cummerbund adatto a corporature più esili. La corda utilizzata risulta di qualità piuttosto bassa, lontana dalla qualità del Paracord ma sufficiente per questi tipo di equipaggiamento. Il margine inferiore dei due capi viene bloccato tramite una clip scorrevole. The Cummerbund is made in two parts, joined each other under the big loop on the back plate carrier. This closure system has two elastic stripes to increase comfort; in any case is possible to move the cord on the PALS to reduce the circumference for thin build. The cord has poor quality, far from the quality of Paracord but enough for a gear like this. That cord is locked by a sliding clip. 
Parte interna del Cummerbund – Inner of the Cummerbund L'interno del cummerbund presenta, come nel corrispettivo modello originale, una fascia interna imbottita che alza di molto il comfort. Inoltre presenta una parete interna in rete a formare un vano per accogliere le protezioni laterali e con la virtuale possibilità di regolare la profondità del vano: “virtuale” perchè è presente sola la striscia di velcro femmina mentre è assente la controparte maschile.
The internal side of the cummerbund has, like in the original LBT model, a soft pad stripe to increase comfort. Besides it has an internal nylon net that made a pouch for side ballistic plates, with the virtual possibility to regulate the deep of the pouch: we say “virtual” because the hook-and-loop system to reduce the deep of the pouch present only one hook-and-loop stipe and the other one is lost. 
Continuando l'analisi, troviamo le due tasche, una per lato, ai lati del margine velcrato, in grado di alloggiare una radio od un caricatore.
Qui troviamo il secondo problema (che è possibile osservare nelle foto sottostanti): il bottone a pressione è stato montato al contrario in entrambe le tasche, quindi con azione verso l'interno e questo rende piuttosto difficoltosa la chiusura e l'apertura. Going on analizing the cummerbund, we can find two pouches, one at each side at the hook-and-loop borders, that can carry a two-way radio or a mag each one. Here we can fin the second problem (you can see in the pictures below): the snap of both pouches is mounted in the wrong side so the closure system is in contact with mags or radio and it's hard to operate on it.
Gli spallacci risultano in linea con gli standard del prodotto e rendono il porto veramente molto comfortevole, aumentando la superficie d'appoggio e limitando la presa grazie alla loro imbottitura.
Sotto gli spallacci imbottiti troviamo la spessa striscia di nylon degli spallacci originali, che dal pannello anteriore si portano a quello posteriore dove passano attraverso due anelli grippanti. Questo permette di regolare l'altezza del plate carrier, mentre la larghezza viene regolata per mezzo della giunzione posteriore del Cummerbund, come detto precedentemente. Il plate carrier si presenta come “one fits all” ma confrontato con il corrispettivo originale, risulta essere la copia una taglia Medium/Large. The shoulder pad are in standard with the quality of the rest of the gear but they are very comfortable, increasing the contact surface and reducing the pressure thanks to the pad. Under the shoulder pad there are the two big nylon stripes with hook-and-loop system that join the front plate carrier to the back one through two gripping rings on the beck. It allows to regulate the high of the PC, while the circumference can be setted through the join system of the cummerbund, as we have just said. The plate carrier is “one fits all” but comparing it with the LBT original one, it seems to be a Medium/Large size. 
Particolare dello spallaccio e della fascia di regolazione, aperti. Tutto si blocca tramite velcro. Particular of the shoulder pad and shoulder strap, all locked through hook-and-loop system. A questo punto però troviamo il vero, grosso problema di questo plate carrier: gli anelli grippanti posti sul pannello posteriore sono stati probabilmente cuciti con un'angolazione errata e, complice anche il tessuto di consistenza molle, una volta indossato il PC, il suo peso non viene scaricato su tutta la lunghezza della cucitura ma solo un un bordo di essa.
Questa situazione, dopo solo due mesi di utilizzo leggero e carichi medio-leggeri, ha determinato la rottura della cucitura stessa, come mostrato nella foto sottostanti. But, at this point, we can find the most important bug of this plate carrier: the gripping rings on the back panel are probably sewn with a wrong inclination and also due the very soft nylon, when you wear the PC, its weight is not spreaded on all the seems but only on their lateral borders.
This situation, after only two months test with a light use and medium load, has caused the breakage of one of the two seems of the gripping rings, as you can see in the picture below. 
Conclusioni
Il plate carrier è stato testato, in modo piuttosto leggero, per circa due mesi con i carichi che potete vedere nelle foto (porta-caricatori con 4 mags, utility, spent-mag pouch coyote brown, admin ATS, borraccia non presente nelle foto). La stabilità, l'aderenza al corpo ed il comfort sono degni di nota, grazie alla fedele riproduzione del 6094A della London Bridge Trading. I materiali purtroppo sono di bassa qualità, in linea con la maggior parte degli equipaggiamenti Low-Cost: la presenza del Nylon ad alta densità rispetto alla Cordura è un elemento molto importante sulla fisionomia di questa copia. Le cuciture sono precise ed eseguite con cura ma alcuni grossolani errori ne pregiudicano la stabilità. In definitiva, un equipaggiamento Low-Cost carino sotto il profilo puramente estetico ma con dei seri problemi di tenuta “operativa” Questo plate carrier è acquistabile presso il nostro sponsor Airsoft Club al costo di $34,99 Conclusion We have tested this plate carrier for two months with a light use (the set-up has been the one you can see in pictures, plus half-litre water bottle). The stability, body adherence and the comfort are very good, thanks to the good copying of the 6094A by London Bridge Trading. The materials used have poor quality, in standard with the most low-cost equipments: the High density Nylon in place of the Cordura 1000d is an important factor of the features of this copy (or “replica” as you prefer). In the end, it's a nice-looking low-cost gear but with serious problems on "operative use".
