Questo tattico è la copia praticamente identica di uno dei modelli di punta della High Speed Gear Inc: il WEESATCH.

Questo tattico può coprire una grossa fascia di taglie andando dalla S alla XL grazie ad un sistema di cinghie molto lunghe. In questo forse risulta un po' più “permissivo” del Weesatch originale che nasce volutamente per misure medio-piccole.

Le colorazioni disponibili sono il Vegetato, OD, Desert Tan e Multicam.

Il plate carrier (in seguito PC), come viene fornito, si compone di:
-una parte anteriore porta-piastra con 6 mag pouch incorporate;
-una parte posteriore porta-piastra;
-2 finte piastre in materiale morbido (con spessore di circa 4 cm.);
-2 spallacci che uniscono le parti anteriore e posteriore;
-2 imbottiture per gli spallacci;
-6 sistemi di ritenzione dei caricatori con Bungee-Cord
-1 tascha Admin
-1 tasca small-utility
-1 tasca Spent-mag
-2 tasche Pistol-mag

-1 radio pouch

 This plate carrier (PC) is the replica of the WEESATCH by High Speed Gear Inc.

It could fit body sizes from S to XL thank to the very long strap system. Maybe in this way it could be a little more permissive than the Weesatch that was born for Small-Medium sizes.

This PC is available in Vegetato, OD, Desert Tan and Multicam.

The PC is supplied with:

-front plate carrier with 6 mag pouches built-in;

-back plate carrier;

-2 soft SAPI replica (4 cm. thick);

-2 shoulders;

-6 bungee-cord retentions for mag-pouches;

-1 admin pouch;

-1 small utility pouch;

-1 spent mag pouch;

-2 pistol mag pouches;

-1 radio pouch.

La parte anteriore del PC presenta 6 mag-pouch.
Ogni mag-pouch delle quattro centrali può contenere comodamente 2 caricatori Colt con mag-pull (o 2 caricatori in 7,62 per la serie G3 che però, essendo più larghi, creano problemi per l’utilizzo di tutte le tasche) mentre le due esterne possono contenere solo 1 caricatore Colt, sempre con mag-pull.
I sistemi di ritenzione dei caricatori previsti sono unicamente in versione Bungee-Cord. Queste devono essere regolate perchè di fabbrica troppo lunghe per funzionare da ritenzione.
Inoltre, durante le prove sul campo, è emersa una difficoltà di utilizzo dei caricatori Colt da 330 che, essendo più corti dei 450bb, male si prestano al bloccare l'elastico lateralmente una volta sia stato spostato, impedendo quindi l'estrazione rapida.
Le mag-pouch sono create da un’unica tasca frontale frazionata da divisori interni fissi in Cordura.
Si nota che, nonostante la grossa dimensione della tasca, questa non è dotata di fori per lo scolo dell’acqua.
Tutta la parte anteriore della fascia porta caricatori è ricoperta da 3 file di pals.

Riteniamo che le due mag-pouch esterne possano essere efficacemente adibite a radio-pouch o a pistol mag-pouch, mantenendo comunque un buon carico di fuoco al seguito (8 caricatori Colt).

 The frontal plate carrier.

The front side of the PC has 6 mag pouches built-it.

Each mag pouch of the 4 in the middle can carry 3 Colt mags with MagPul (or two 7,62 mags for G3 series but, being larger, you will have some problems to use all the pouches) instead the 2 laterals can carry only 1 Colt mag.

The retension system used is made of bungee-cord. You will have to adjust the bungee because they're very long.

During our tests on field we have had minor problems in the use of 300bb Colt mags because they're smaller than the 450bb and they can't lock the bungee when you move it to the side for extraction. It could work against rapid extraction.

The mag-pouches are built-in and made by a big pouch with separators. There are no draining holes.

The front side of the mag-pouches have 3 Pals raws.

We think the lateral pouches could be used as radio pouch or pistol mag pouch, carrying a good mags number anyway (8 mags).

 Sopra le mag-pouch sono bloccati, due grossi fastex ai quali verranno assicurati gli spallacci da 5cm di larghezza.

Agli estremi laterali troviamo i due Fastex per la cintura lombare (e qui la prima differenza con il Wee originale, il quale, nella versione da noi testata, aveva solo un punto di sgancio tramite Fastex).

Punto dolente di tutto il tattico sono proprio i Fastex. La plastica con la quale sono prodotti risulta estremamente porosa e poco elastica tanto che, nei punti di normale flessione, già dopo pochi inserimenti si sono presentati segni di sofferenza delle plastiche stesse.

 Over the mag-pouches there are two big fastex where you will engage the 5cm. large shoulders.

At the lateral sides there area two big fastex for the lumbar belt (and here teh first difference with teh Wee which has only one Fastex for lumbar belt).

The weak point of this PC are the Fastex. The plastic used is too porous and too inelastic and in the flex points, already after a few uses, there are small damages.

 Obliquamente e sopra gli ancoraggi della cintura lombare, troviamo due robusti passanti in plastica che permettono di convertire il PC in un Chest-Rig con X-Harness (spallacci incrociati nella regione interscapolare), eliminando così il porta-piastra posteriore.

A differenza del Weesatch originale, questo PC ha spallacci molto lunghi che permettono di essere bloccati efficacemente sui passanti in plastica.

 Obliquely over the rings for fastex for the lumbar belt, there are two plastic rings to convert the PC in a Chest Rig with X-Harness, removing the back plate carrier.

Unlike the Weesatch this PC has very ong shoulders you can well lock on the plastic rings.

 La “pettorina” si assicura agli spallacci con due nastri in Cordura con bottoni a pressione.
Questa rimane in posizione verticale grazie anche alla presenza della finta piastra balistica, ma può anche essere abbattuta dietro le mag-pouch, pena l’impossibilità all'uso della piastra anteriore e della grossa tasca interna verticale.
Sulla pettorina sono presenti 3 file di pals sotto le quali è presente una tasca verticale con chiusura superiore a velcro, dove è possibile riporre mappe e documenti. La tasca, a differenza del Wee originale, non occupa tutta l'altezza del PC ma solo l'altezza della pettorina “Bib”.

 The bib is locked on the shoulders through two Cordura strap with snaps.

It stay in vertical position also thank to the SAPI replica but you can also fold it under the mag-pouches. In this case you will not be able to carry a SAPI and use the big vertical pouch.

On the bib there are 3 Pals rows and, behind them, there's a big vertical pouch, closed by hook-and-loop, you can use to store documents and more. This pouch, unlike the Weesatch, doesn't use all the height of the frontal plate carrier but only the bib height.

 Il posizionamento della tasca Admin si presenta “macchinosa” come nel Wee originale: la tasca Admin in dotazione permette un aggancio stabile che non influisce sull'estrazione dei caricatori mentre una tasca Admin Guarder usata come controprova, dimostra che il diverso posizionamento delle ritenzioni per il sistema molle, provoca una difficoltà di aggancio notevolmente maggiore.

Sulla faccia posteriore si trova la tasca per la piastra balistica in grado di contenere piastre di taglia Large (fornita in dotazione), provvista questa di anelli metallici per lo scolo dell’acqua.
 

Il PC è fornito di imbottiture per gli spallacci i quali risultano di qualità sufficiente a compire egregiamente il proprio lavoro.

 To fix the Admin pouch is not very easy as in the Weesatch: this pouch is stable and doesn't hinder the mags extraction while an Admin pouch by Guarder, we used as a comparative, has a different molle position so you will have more problems to fix it.

On the back on the frontal plate carrier there's the pouch for the SAPI in size Large. It has metal hole for water draining.

The PC is supplied wiht two shoulder pads big enough to do a good work.

Il pannello posteriore consiste in una grossa sacca con chiusura a velcro superiore, in grado di trasportare piastre di taglia Large (fornita in dotazione), non provvista di anelli di scolo dell’acqua.
A differenza del Wee originale, la finta piastra si inserisce fino al fondo della tasca e non presenta particolari attenzioni non dovendo, di norma, trasportare vere piastre balistiche.

Sulla parte bassa del retro sono presenti due passanti per la cintura lombare che presenta anche due ritenzioni elastiche per la cinghia in eccesso.

 The back plate carrier

The back plate carrier is a big pouch upper closed by hook-and-loop that can carry Large SAPI replica. No metal holes for water draining in this area.

Unlike in the Wee, in this PC the SAPI replica will use all the height pouch and there are not particular details because this PC is not dedicated to real use.

In the lower back there are two loops for lumbar belt. 

 Il lato esterno del pannello posteriore presenta 6 file di pals per l’aggancio di un hydratation carrier o di un backpack e una maniglia per l’estrazione d’emergenza assicurata al pannello con velcro.

 The back of the back plate carrier has 6 pals rows to attach an hydration carrier or a backpack and has also a carry handle for med-evac.

 Durante le nostre prove abbiamo notato che molti “softgunners” utilizzatori di questo PC adibiscono il pannello posteriore a hydratation carrier e non a porta-piastre: questo risulta un grossolano errore in quanto il volume iniziale della sacca d’idratazione costringerà ad una regolazione più abbondante rispetto al necessario e, una volta svuotata la sacca, il PC risulterà troppo largo, scomodo e inefficace.

 During our tests we abserved many aisoft players which use thic PC using the back plate carrier as an hydration carrier: this is a big mistake because, doing that, you will adjust the PC on your body with the full bladder but when it will be empty you will have the PC too big for your body size and you will need to re-adjust it.
 

 Le Tasche

A differenza del Wee originale, questo tattico “low cost” viene fornito completo delle tasche base per l'utilizzo da parte del Softgunner e le analizzeremo di seguito.
 

Radio pouch: permette di contenere radio di varie dimensioni, grazie al fondo regolabile in profondità. Posteriormente presenta due passanti MOLLE dotati di bottone a pressione (sistema identico per tutte le tasche). La tasca occupa 2 Pals in larghezza.

 The Pouches

Not as the Wee, this low cost PC is supplied with a full set of pouches for the common airsoft players needs. Let'go to analyze.

Radio pouch: it allows to store many radio devices because you can adjust it. On the back there's the Molle system strap with snaps (as in all the pouches). It needs 2 pals in width.

      

 

 Utility pouch: è una piccola utility con due scomparti interni. Le prese delle cerniere sono state sostituite da due corde “simil-paracord” con funzione sia anti-rumore che facilitante l'apertura con guanti indossati. Occupa 4 Pals in larghezza.

Esternamente sono presenti 2 file di Pals in altezza e 4 in larghezza, ricoperte da Velcro femmina. Il significato di questa scelta rimane oscuro.

 Utility pouch: it's a little utilty with two internal pockets. The zipper handles have being replaced by two pieces of similar paracord to reduce the noise and make easier the opening with the gloves. It needs 4 Pals in width.

In the front there are two pals rows in height and 4 in width, covered by female hook-and-loop. We don't know its use.

   

 Admin pouch: è una classica Admin e, come si vede in foto, è dotata di due tasche porta documenti di cui una chiusa con Velcro. Anteriormente è presente un pannelo per ID e una tasca per caricatore per pistola o per torcia tattica.

 Admin pouch: it's a classic admin pouch with two internal pockets to store documents. One of them is velcro closed.

In the frontal side there's a ID hook-and-loop panel and a pistol-mag pouch or flashlight pouch.

 Spent-mag pouch: è una rolly-poly che occupa due Pals in larghezza. Fondamentalmente ben strutturata e ben cucita, come tutte le altre tasche. Unico punto negativo: la corda elastica utilizzata sulle clip scorrevoli è di diametro e qualità inadeguate.

E' possibile notare il cordino elastico sottodimensionato

 Spent-mag pouch: it's a rolly-poly and needs 2 pals in width. Well done and sewn, as all the pouches. Only one bad point: the bungee-cord with the two moving clips it's too thin for this use and has poor quality.

          

 Pistol-mag pouch: è una tasca portacaricatori per pistola da due posti. Nel softair viene più comunemente utilizzata per trasportare Multi-tools o torce tattiche pronte all'uso. La chiusura è con patella velcrata regolabile in altezza. Occupa 2 Pals in larghezza.

 Pistol-mag pouch: it's a double pistol-mag pouch. In the game you can use it as Multi-tool pouch or flashlight pouch. The closure is made by a Velcroed flap adjustable in height. It needs 2 Pals in width.

 Conclusioni.

IL tattico risulta esteticamente identico al Weesatch ma il controllo qualità post-produzione risulta ancora distante dagli alti standard della HSGI (un esempio tra tutti è la diversità di cucitura dei Fastex sugli spallacci in cui uno risulta cucito in modo diverso. Questo, in un tattico per il Softair, non rappresenta un problema ma se l'utilizzo fosse quello reali, con pesi e sollecitazioni ben superiori, reputiamo che questo Fastex potrebbe cedere).

I materiali sono buoni essendo Corsura 1000 denari e le cuciture sono eseguite con precisione, filo di grosso diametro e doppie nei punti di maggior tensione.

I Fastex sono il vero punto debole del tattico e non rispecchiano la buona qualità del resto della componentistica.

Interessante è la soluzione di includere nel kit le imbottiture per gli spallacci e le finte piastre.
Proprio la presenza delle finte piastre morbide, che donano un comfort e una vestibilità superiore all'originale (in ambito di gioco), indicano che questo tattico nasce rivolto al pubblico dei softgunner, sicuramente meno disposto a sopportare le scomodità.

La prova sul campo si dimostra positiva: il PC è stabile ed equilibrato.

 Conclusions.

The PC is the Weesatch replica but the after production quality controls are far from the HSGI standard (for example the different seams of the fastex on the shoulders. This is a PC for airsoft players so it's not a problem but we think that if the PC was used in real field the fastex sewn in the different way could be detached).

The materials used are good being made of Cordura 1000d and the seams done with big spin, double on the most stressed zones.

The fastex are the very weak point of this PC, not in standard with the other parts of the PC.

It's good the idea to include the shoulder-pads and the SAPIs replica in the kit.

The SAPIs replica give high comfort to the player and a better fit than the original Weesatch. This show that this PC was born for the airsoft players not interested about endure the inconvenience.

The test on field was great: the PC is stable and well balanced.
