AGM - M4A1 Carbine
Airsoft Internationa (A.S.I. srl) è una nuova Azienda Italiana grossista/importatore di articoli inerenti il Soft Air, dedita a rifornire negozianti e non clienti al minuto.
Tra i prodotti di recente importazione da parte di A.S.I. srl, vi è la nuova generazione di repliche della serie Colt M4 di produzione AGM.
Un esemplare della prima serie di prodotti di tale categoria - sebbene non ancora adeguata alla normativa italiana in fatto di energia - ci è stata inviata da ASI per una valutazione estetica e meccanica, precisando, appunto, che si tratta di una replica, appunto, non ancora depotenziata dall’azienda.
Airsoft International (A.S.I. srl) is a new Italian company wholesaler / importer of airsoft goods, devoted to supply merchants and not retail customers.
Among the products recently imported by A.S.I. srl, there is the new generation Colt M4 series AEG manufactured by AGM.
A sample of the first series of this category products - although not yet adapted to the Italian legislation about airsoft gun maximum energy - has been to us of Airsoftcommunity to be tested both in aesthetic and mechanic.
Ciò premesso, la replica è stata analizzata sia dal punto di vista puramente estetico che da quello meccanico e, poi, in action, come si vede dalle foto sotto.
Accordingly, the AEG was analyzed both from a purely aesthetic point of view that the mechanical and, later, in action, as you can see from the photos below.
CONFEZIONE
La replica dello M4 AGM è fornita in una elegante confezione contenente il fucile, il caricatore maggiorato da trecento colpi, la cinghia, la batteria tipo mini, il caricabatteria, un piccolo sacchetto di pallini e una bustina contenente il piccolo attrezzo per la regolazione della tacca di mira anteriore.
PACKAGE
The replica of the M4 AGM comes in a sleek packag: the gun, the 300 rounds magazine , sling, mini type battery, charger, a small bag of BBs a bag containing a small tool to adjust the sight.
DESCRIZIONE
Il fucile è solido e robusto e la finitura superficiale dei gusci è pulita e satinata così come le scritte del selettore sono nitide e ben marcate.
L’outer barrel è di alluminio, molto leggera e ben rifinita ed è fissata allo upper reciveri da un D Ring privo di dentellatura radiale.
I cavetti - molto robusti - sembrano gli stessi impiegati sulle repliche DBoys.
DESCRIPTION
The gun is solid. Its surfaces are well finished as well as the writings of the selector are sharp and well marked.
The outer barrel is made of aluminum, very light and well finished and is fixed to the upper reciver from a D Ring free radial notch.
The cables - very strong - look the same used on replicas DBoys.
Pala del calcio a sei posizioni e grip motore sono realizzate con plastica molto robusta, caricata con fibra di vetro, molto simile ai materiali usati dalle repliche della gamma DBoys. Invece, l’astina paramano anteriore è di plastica - verosimilmente ABS - diversa da quella di pala e grip: sicuramente meno robusta e realistica.
Six position stock and motor grip are made of very sturdy plastic, charged with glass fiber, similar to materials used by the replicas of the Dboys brand.
Instead, the front hand guard is ABS plastic: it is less realistic and solid than the other plastic parts.
Sul lato sinistro dello Upper Receiver è incollata una grande etichetta bianca su cui campeggia la scritta “1 JOULE MAXI” ma, come il test a “fuoco” dimostrerà e come, peraltro, ci è stato preannunciato dalla ASI, la replica oggetto del test dimostrerà una esuberanza di energia tale da richiederne il depotenziamento.
L’adesivo va rimosso usando un phon per scaldarne la colla, altrimenti questa rimane appiccicata sul receiver e la sua rimozione sarà difficoltosa.
On the left side of the upper receiver there is a large white label which bears the inscription "1 JOULE MAXI" but, like the firing test demonstrated, is much lower than it is.
Label should be removed using a hair dryer to heat the glue, otherwise it stays stuck on the receiver and its removal will be difficult.
Dal punto di vista dell’architettura generale, la replica non racconta nulla di nuovo, anche se l’assemblaggio, se confrontato con alcuni prodotti analoghi di recente produzione DBoys è sicuramente molto più curata, specialmente per quanto riguarda l’accoppiamento dei receivers superiore ed inferiore.
From the standpoint of the general architecture, this AEG does not tell anything new, even if the assembly, if compared with some similar products recently produced by DBoys is certainly much more accurate.
CARICATORE
Il caricatore da 300 colpi funziona molto bene e si innesta al receiver in maniera precisa con gioco modesto per nulla fastidioso.
Il cambio caricatore rapido ne risulta agevolato. Basta, infatti, pigiare a fondo il pulsante di sgancio del caricatore che questo, per gravità, si sfila senza incontrare ostacoli.
MAGAZINE
The 300 round magazine works very well and engages the receiver precisely with small game for anything annoying.
The fast change of the magazine is easy. It is sufficient to press the release button and, by gravity, magazine pulls smoothly.
ALIMENTAZIONE
La replica è fornita, di serie, di una batteria NiCd tipo mini la quale si rivela appena sufficiente a sparare qualche colpo.
I test, in effetti, prima e dopo il depotenziamento sono stati eseguiti con batteria LiPo da 11,1 volts a tre elementi prodotta e fornita dalla italiana A&B.
POWER
AEG is supplied as standard with a mini NiCd battery which reveals just enough to shoot a few shots.
11,1 Volts LiPo battery is the best and we used a three celss LiPo produced by the Italian manufacturer A & B.
SMONTAGGIO
Lo smontaggio della replica è estremamente agevole e ricalca quello di qualsiasi altro M4 di serie standard attualmente disponibili sul mercato.
Rimosso il perno passante anteriore, i due semigusci si sfilano l’uno dall’altro.
DISASSEMBLY
The AEG can be siassambled easily following the way of any other M4 serie replica currently available on the market.
Removed the front pin, the two receivers come off of each other.
HOP UP
L’Hop Up è composto da una T di metallo e da ingranaggi in plastica.
La rotella di registro è troppo “lasca” e non garantisce la costanza della reglolazione dell’Hop Up. Va inserita una rondella tra la vite e la rotella per creare della “frizione” utile ad impedire lo spostamento della regolazione del hop up.
Canna e gommini sono ottimi così come sono.
HOP UP
Hop Up is composed of a metal “T” and plastic gears.
The adjustment wheel is too "loose" and does not guarantee the constancy of HOP UP setting. The best is to insert a washer between the screw and the wheel to create the "friction" useful to prevent the movement of the adjustment setting of the hop up.
Inner barrell and hop up rubber are good as they are.
GEAR BOX
Il Gear Box è il classico di seconda generazione già visto sui prodotti AGM. Ben fatto se confrontato a quelli DBoys, molto curato e dotato di boccole in otone da 8 millimetri.
E’ sigillato mediante viti a testa Torx per cui, per aprirlo, è necessario munirsi della apposita chiave.
GEAR BOX
The Gear Box is the classic second-generation product already seen on AGM. Well done if compared to those DBoys, very nice and equipped with 8 mm brass bushings.
It is sealed with Torx head screws.
La componentistica interna è marchia XYT, come del resto ormai qualsiasi ASG di produzione cinese ci ha abituato a vedere.
Molto grasso di tipo minerale, forse troppo. Ne consiglio la rimozione con solvente e sostituzione con grasso siliconico meno adesivo e più fluido.
La molla, come previsto, giustifica la esuberante energia misurata con pallini da 0.25 di produzione KSC.
Va, ovviamente, sostituita anche se, come già detto, i prodotti distribuiti prossimamente saranno depotenziati a cura di ASI SOFT AIR.
Il pistone è quello già visto sulle repliche di produzione DBoys, la qual cosa permette di considerare che i produttori di ASG cinesi abbiano più o meno gli stessi fornitori di componenti e si differenzino principalmente sulla scelta delle componenti esterne, più o meno curate.
The internal components are XYT marked.
A lot of grease, perhaps too much. I recommend to remove it and replace with less adhesive silicon grease.
The spring, as expected, justifies the exuberant energy ofe the Aeg, tested with of 0.25 grams BBs bya KSC.
Of course, for the italian market and airsoft skirmish it should be replaced even if, as mentioned above, the products will be distributed soon weakened by ASI SOFT AIR.
The piston is already seen on DBoys production.
IL MOTORE
Il motore è del tipo “super high torque” come testimonia la resistenza alla rotazione dovuta al potente magnete.
Alimentato con una batteria LiPo da 11,1 voltz a 20 C, fornisce coppia da vendere senza produrre un ROF esagerato.
ENGINE
Engine is a "super high torque" as evidenced by the resistance to rotation due to the powerful magnet.
Powered by a LiPo battery from 11.1 Volts and 20 C discharge, it provides torque to sell without incurring in excessive ROF.
CONCLUSIONI
Risolto il “problema” della potenza erogata e della regolazione dell’Hop Up,a la replica AGM importata e distribuita da A.S.I. srl si inserisce in un mercato già abbastanza saturo di fucili della serie Colt M4.
Tuttavia, le finiture esterne e il modo in cui la meccanica è assemblata la rende una scelta ideale per chi con una spesa non eccessiva vuole armarsi di un fucile efficiente.
Peraltro, una volta depotenziato, utilizzato sempre con batteria LiPo da 11,1 volts - di cui consiglio vivamente l’impiego - e con pallini da 0.25 grammi di ottima qualità, regala sessioni di tiro di piacevole precisione.

CONCLUSIONS
Solved the "problem" of energy output and hop up adjusting, the AGM M4 imported and distributed by A.S.I. srl fits into a market already saturated with enough Colt M4 series guns.
However, the external finishes and the way in which the Gear Box is assembled makes it a perfect choice for air soft player to be armed with a rifle too efficient at a low cost.
However, once weakened, always used with LiPo battery to 11.1 volts - which I highly recommend the use - shoting 0.25 grams high quality BBs, this M4 gives a nice precision shooting sessions.
