Alcune ASG, soprattutto le compatte, hanno il problema dello scarso (o in certi casi addirittura inesistente) vano per la batteria.
In queste situazioni o ci si accontenta di utilizzare piccole batterie di scarsa autonomia, inserendole nel vano apposito o creandone uno di fortuna dentro al tubo del calcio o all'interno del RIS, oppure occorre alloggiare la batteria all'esterno della nostra ASG.
La classica tasca in nylon agganciata con elastici è una comoda e pratica soluzione, ma esteticamente poco appagante. Per ospitare esternamente le nostre batterie senza rinunciare al realismo, dobbiamo quindi servirci di finti caricatori con al loro interno una batteria, da tenere nel Ready Mag o nella tasca sul lato del calcio, oppure agganciare al RIS un LAM (Laser Aiming Module), come quello che andremo a recensire.

Some ASG, especially those of compact size, have the problem of insufficient or not present space for battery.
In this case we have to use small batteries with low autonomy, insert them into the space of ASG or into the tube of rifle stock or into the RIS; someone prefers to hold the battery externally of ASG.
A nylon pouch with elastic belt is a easy solution, but not good to see. To hold our batteries externally without renounce to realism, we must use a fake magazine with a battery inside and hold it in a Ready Mag or in a pocket attached to the stock. We can also hold the battery in a LAM attached to the RIS, as we're going to view.

 

La confezione si presenta in modo estremamente semplice: una scatola anonima in cartone con un adesivo che identifica il prodotto.
Come possiamo vedere dai riquadri presenti sulla etichetta, ci sono due versioni dell'oggetto, con o senza puntatore laser, e in 2 colori, nero e dark earth: la versione recensita è nera, senza puntatore laser.

All'interno della confezione troviamo anche un foglio con adesivi vari per personalizzare il nostro AN-PEQ (negli spazi vuoti ci sono gli adesivi che vedrete attaccati all'AN-PEQ recensito).

Tutti i pulsanti sono semplicemente stampati, non possono essere azionati.
La plastica è di un bel nero opaco, molto realistico senza l'effetto “giocattolo” tipico della plastica lucida. I dettagli sono molto ben curati e stampati con precisione, il materiale utilizzato per la sua costruzione è inoltre resistente e conferisce un aspetto molto solido al LAM.

All buttons are simply printed and can not be operated.
Plastic is nice matte black, very realistic without the "toy effect" typical of shiny plastic. The details are well designed and printed with precision, the material used for the construction is also resistant and it looks very solid.

 

Qui possiamo vedere il sistema di aggancio dell'AN-PEQ al RIS. La battuta che possiamo vedere a metà del cilindro di regolazione, impedisce che quest'ultimo si sganci del tutto dalla vite fissata alla base del LAM. Molto utile per evitare di perdere qualche piccolo pezzo.

Here we see the attachment system of AN-PEQ to RIS. The piece that we see in the middle of the adjustment cylinder prevents it from being released completely from the screw fixed to the base of the LAM. Very useful to avoid losing any small piece.

 

I finti filtri IR sono tenuti da degli elastici e possono essere sganciati, lasciando vedere i fori che accedono all'interno del LAM.
Le tre viti chiudono il tappo che apre il vano interno con la batteria.

The fake IR filters are blocked by some elastic and they can be dropped, leaving free the holes to see inside the LAM.
The three screws close the cap to open the interior compartment that contains the battery.

 

Nel vero modulo, il tappo apre l'alloggio delle batterie che alimentano il dispositivo; nel nostro caso funge da foro di uscita del cavo della batteria che andrà a collegarsi all'ASG.

In the real module, the cap opens the compartment containing batteries that power the device, in the dummy acts as a exit for the battery cable to connect to our ASG.

 

Per togliere la batteria o estrarre il cavetto che permette di ricaricarla, occorre girare il tappo di 90° ed estrarlo. Lo spinotto di ricarica è già disponibile senza dover togliere la batteria dal LAM.

To remove the battery or remove the cable that allows you to charge it, turn the cap of 90 degrees and remove it. The power pod is available without having to remove the battery from LAM.

 

Per estrarre la batteria dobbiamo svitare le tre viti posteriori e sganciare il tappo si sinistra, quindi possiamo rimuovere il coperchio.
L'AN-PEQ riesce agevolmente a contenere una LiPo 1300mAh da 11.1V, non male viste le sue contenute dimensioni.

To remove the battery first unscrew the three screws and remove the cap on the left, so we can remove the cover.
The AN-PEQ is able to easily contain a LiPo 11.1V 1300mAh, good result considering its small size.


Mettiamolo a confronto con un altro LAM, per l'occasione quello fornito di serie con il KAC PDW DBoys.

Let's compare it with another LAM, in this case the one that comes in the DBoys KAC PDW package.

 

Possiamo facilmente notare le sue più contenute dimensioni, oltre che di un aspetto estetico decisamente migliore. I particolari sono molto più curati e le plastiche più opache e ruvide, tutto a vantaggio del realismo.

We can easily see its smaller size, as well as a much better appearance. The details are better treated and the plastic is more matte and rough, for an increased realism.

I due LAM a confronto montati su un KAC PDW: senza dubbio il nostro AN-PEQ 15 risulta di gran lunga la scelta migliore.

The two LAM compared on a KAC PDW: our AN-PEQ 15 is certainly the best choice.

 

Conclusioni.

Materiali e costruzione di qualità, finiture e particolari davvero di pregio; il vano batteria è capiente nonostante le dimensioni contenute.
L'unica nota dolente è l'accesso al vano interno: cambiare batteria durante il gioco non è così semplice e veloce dovendo togliere tre viti.
Fortunatamente la batteria può essere caricata senza estrarla e visto il suo piccolo ingombro e soprattutto il prezzo così conveniente (solo 13 dollari per la versione base e 30 dollari per quella con puntatore laser) ci permette di acquistarne un secondo così da cambiare direttamente LAM una volta scaricata la batteria che stiamo usando.

Conclusions.

High quality materials and good construction, finishes and details really fine, the battery compartment is large even though the small size.
The only bug is the access to the inside: change the battery during the game is not so simple and fast having to remove three screws.
Fortunately, the battery can be charged without removing it and given its small size and especially the price so cheap (only 13 USD for the basic version and 30 USD for those with laser pointer) allows us to buy a second LAM and then change all once the battery we are using goes down.
