Nell'articolo analizzeremo la T.R.U. COMBAT SHIRT prodotta da Tru-Spec, è stata testata durante gli utlimi 4 mesi, prima durante l'estate e in autunno poi.

In this article we will analyze the T.R.U. COMBAT SHIRT made by Tru-Spec, it has been tested during the past 4 months troughout summer and autumn.

 Leggendo l'etichetta inclusa nella maglia possiamo capire le caratteristiche del tessuto usato, Cordura Baselayer, usato per la parte a contatto con il corpo non si scioglie vicino a sorgenti di calore, gestisce in maniera ottimale l'umidità e il sudore e si asciuga molto più rapidamente rispetto al normale cotone, è inoltre molto confortevole e morbida quanto una maglietta di cotone nonostante la sua robustezza.

 Reading the label included with the shirt we can understand the characteristics of the fabric used, the Cordura Baselayer used for the body part won't melt near heat sources, it manages moisture and it dries  faster than normal cotton fabric, further more is very comfortable and soft like a cotton shirt but very durable. 

 Le maniche e le spalle sono realizzate in tessuto rip-stop, sottile e robusto. I colori sono opachi e al contrario di altri capi in rip-stop hanno dei colori delle giuste tonalità.

 Sleeves and shoulders part are made of rip-stop fabric, thin and durable. Colors are matt and unlike other shirts and jackets are of a correct shade.

 La TRU Combat Shirt dispone di due tasche con chiusura a zip sulla manica. Sono molto capienti grazie ad un soffietto e la cerniera non si è mai aperta durante l'uso. Sopra le tasche è applicato il velcro e un anello utili per il fissaggio di nomi, gradi, patch e del nastro IR.

 The TRU combat shirt has two sleeves zippered pockets. They are really capacious and they don't open during games and combat. Over this pockets there are two velcro rectangles and a loop for attaching name, ranks, patches or IR tape.

 All'altezza dei gomiti sono presenti due toppe rinforzate e imbottite. Sono molto utili quando si striscia o per evitare piccole ferite quando ci si butta al suolo se non si hanno altre protezioni.

 On the elbows there are padded patches very useful when crawling and to avoid small injures when hitting the ground without the possibility to have further protection.

 I polsi sono chiusi con il velcro e seguono il classico stile ACU.

 Wrists are closed with velcro following the ACU pattern.

 Le cuciture sono veramente ben fatte e anche se tirate e stressate non cedono. Anche il Cordura Baselayer, se tirato con forza, non si smaglia o allarga al contrario delle classiche maglie in cotone.

 Seams are really well made and also if stressed they won't getting loose. The Cordura Baselayer if pulled with strenght won't snag unlike cotton that usual get stretched quite easily.

 Altra caratteristica interessante è la qualità del tessuto rip-stop, molto sottile e robusto. Come si può vedere dalle foto, rispetto ad una giacca in taglio ACU realizzata in cina, la Tru-Spec ha una trama molto più sottile e flessibile e quindi più confortevole a contatto con la pelle. Inoltre i colori sono più corretti e rispondendi alle specifiche militari.

 Another interesting feature is the ripstop fabric quality and thinnes . As you can see compared to a china-made ACU jacket the ripstop pattern is very different, the Tru-Spec has a very fine texture and it's more flexible, so it's more comfortable against skin. Also colors are more mil-spec compliant.

 Durante le prove è stata testata sotto un body armour per verificare la reale capacità della Cordura Baselayer di gestire l'umidità. Il sudore è perfettamente convogliato verso il basso all'esterno del body armour e dopo una mattinata di gioco tende ad asciugarsi in circa 20 minuti, di contro la maglietta sottostante in cotone era ancora bagnata.

Purtroppo test al calore non è possibile farli senza attrezzature che controllino la temperatura raggiunta

Il capo ha dato prova della sua reale robustezza contro spine e abrasioni. Dopo 4 mesi di uso è ancora "come nuova" senza aree strappate, consumate o sbiadite.

 During trials it has been tested under a body armour to verify the BaseLayer moisture management effectiveness.

The sweat is carried to the bottom of the shirt under the body armour and usually it dries in about 20 minutes after a morning game session against the cotton undershirt still wet after half an hour.

The heating test is quite impossible to do without proper instrumentation to check the temperature reached.

The shirt has proven to be very strong against spines and abrasions. After 4 months of use it is still "like new" without rips, weared areas or faded colors.

 Concludendo possiamo affermare che il capo è veramente ben realizzato e la Cordura Baselayer risponde efficiacemente ai bisogni del soldato.

 In conclusion we can state that this garment is really well made and the Cordura Baselayer fabric answers effectively to the combatant needs.
