L'avvento delle batterie ai Polimeri di Litio  - ovvero LI.PO. si può dire, ha rivoluzionato il mercato degli accessori "necessari " per il funzionamento delle ASG.
Ciononostante, molti potenziali utilizzatori di queste ottime batterie sono ancora restii dall'impiegarle, vuoi per la loro esuberanza, vuoi per le dimensioni, vuoi per il timore che possano "esplodere".

ACTION BATTERIES
Ciò che caratterizza la filosofia dell'azienda italiana è la volontà del suo titolare, Alberto Mazzini, di ricercare ed assemblare solamente prodotti di elevata qualità , opportunamente testati con strumentazioni particolari. Tuttavia, il test più importante, almeno per me che, essendo SoftGunner, desidero utilizzare batterie al tempo performanti e sicure, nonchè pratiche da utilizzare è quello sul "campo". E' il caso delle nuove batterie che ACTION BATTERIES mi ha inviato per essere testate sul campo, cioè infilate in una ASG e "tirate per il collo".
Despite the name, Action Batteries (AB) is an Italian company specialized in assembling batteries of various technologies and, ultimately, extremely active in the field of LI.PO.
What characterizes the philosophy of the Italian company is the will of its owner, Alberto Mazzini, to search for and assemble only high quality products, properly tested with special instruments.
However, the most important test, at least for me it is the field. Being SoftGunner, I would use batteries having at the meantime performance and safely, as like as ease of use.
It 's the case of the new ACTION BATTERIES models, sent me to be field-tested, that's meaning stuck in an ASG and pull to the extreme.
Io, poi, che non sopporto di appesantire le mie repliche con antiestetici "scatolotti" appesi esternamente, ho trovato le batterie oggetto di questa prova ideali per soddisfare al contempo il gusto estetico e quello pratico.

The packets that are being tested will consist of 3.7 volts elements , with a capacity of 750 mAh and 15 C discharge.
Those were assembled in three configurations:
- 11.1 volts, 750 mAh, 15 C in a single package;
- 7.4 volts, 750 mAh, 15 C in a single package;
- 7.4 volts, 1500 mAh, 15 C on two benches, that is suitable for incorporation into handguards, and gun that have very little space, consisting of two pairs of batteries put in parallel.

Come ho scritto, le nuove batterie si prestano bene per essere infilate in ASG con poco spazio, come la serie KAC PDW o il SIG 552, nel caso mio dotato di RAS anteriore nel quale normalmente monto una LI.PO da 7,4 Volts e 1800 mAh e dove ho potuto inserire la LI.PO. da 11,1 volts e 750 mAh con spazio sufficiente a inserirne una seconda, magari collegata in parallelo.

Per ricariche "rapide" o da campo, io utilizzo un comodo caricabatterie EFlite, che ricarica e bilancia automaticamente i pacchi.
Anche le nuove batterie oggetto del test, le ho ricaricate e bilanciate con questo efficiente strumento.

Ho utilizzato le nuove batterie installandole in un SIG 552 ICS nuovo di zecca a cui ho solo cambiato la molla e la testa pistone di serie con equivalenti di mia produzione.
Ho mantenuto il motore di serie e, notoriamente, i motori ICS oltre che essere rumorosi sono anche ingordi di corrente.
Con la batteria da 11,1 Volts a 750 mAh e 15 C, ho sparato di seguito 1800 colpi (KSC 0.25) in condizioni ambientali caratterizzate da elevate temperatura ed umidità (30 gradi circa).
1800 colpi, almeno, per me, sono una enormità per una giornata di gioco che voglia considerarsi realistico.
La batteria ha retto ancora due ulteriori caricatori (900 colpi) prima di dare segni di cedimento.

Come la scelta dei pallini per me è fattore determinante per la durata e l'efficacia della ASG, quella delle batterie è altrettanto importante.
Le batterie devono soddisfare necessità di autonomia, prontezza e costanza nell'erogazione della corrente senza "stressare" la meccanica.
L'utilizzatore della domenica, così come quello agonistico (leggasi Hard Soft Air, Mil Sim o Recon), non dovrebbero sottovalutare l'importanza di utilizzare pacchi batterie di qualità .
Insomma, se la produzione di serie di queste nuove batterie sarà caratterizzata dalle prestazioni di quelle che ho avuto in prova, credo che ACTION BATTERIES potrà stabilire un nuovo "stato dell'arte" per quanto riguarda l'alimentazione delle nostre repliche.
