Da quindici anni la Beretta M9 è la principale arma da fianco delle forze armate statunitensi; sono numerosi i teatri di guerra in cui è stata impegnata, e che, in situazioni ambientali estreme, ne hanno fatto risaltare i lati positivi e negativi.

For fifteen years the Beretta M9 is has benn, and it is, the primary sidearm of the U.S. military.

There are many theaters of war where it was committed, and where, in extreme situations, it did highlight its positives and negatives.

Staff Sgt. Raymar Webb reviews the inventory of M-9 pistols while working in the armory Sept. 22 at Fort Dix, N.J. Sergeant Webb is the Air Force Expeditionary Center combat arms instructor. He and three other Airmen manage 48 different weapons systems and 153 different types of foreign weapons in their armory -- the most foreign weapons than any armory in the Air Force.
