Graziano, titolare del negozio SAS MODELLISMO, ci ha inviato alcune immagini che permettono di pregustare una fra le ultime novità di casa Tokyo Marui: il Recce Rifle della serie SRE (Shot and Recoil Engine).

 

Graziano, owner of SAS MODELLISMO airsoft shop, sent us some pictures that allow you to anticipate one of the latest news from Tokyo Marui: The SRE (Shot and Recoil Engine) Series Recce Rifle.

 

L’arma vera: il Mark 18 mod 1 nasce dall’esigenza di poter disporre di un M4 con canna di lunghezza superiore ai 14,5 pollici, per meglio sfruttare le caratteristiche della munizione da 5,56 mm. Questa arma è in dotazione al DEVGRU / SEAL Team Six. Viene detto anche Recon Rifle, o, appunto, Recce Rifle.

Tra le sue caratteristiche, l’impiego di uno spegnifiamma particolare a sgancio rapido, per la sostituzione con un silenziatore.

The real weapon: the Mark 18 Mod 1 it was born from the need to have an M4 with a barrel longer than 14.5 inches, to better exploit the characteristics of 5.56 mm ammunition. This weapon is supplied to DEVGRU / SEAL Team Six. It is also known as Recon Rifle, or, indeed, Recce Rifle. Among its features, the use of a particular quick release flash hider, for quick replacement with a silencer. 

La replica di Marui ha un RAS della Daniel Defense da 10 pollici, riprodotto su licenza, e fissato al corpo dell’arma mediante grosse viti, soluzione questa che rassicura anche sulla robustezza dell’ASG.

Con il Recce Rifle non sono fornite mire metalliche, come non sono installate sull’arma vera, su cui i SEAL utilizzano la SPECTER DR Elcan.

The replica has a 10 inch Daniel Defense  RAS, that Marui reproduced under license, fixed to the body of the weapon by large screws; this solution also assures about the strength of the ASG. With the Recce Rifle are not supplied iron sights, as are not installed on the genuine weapon, with which the SEALs use the Elcan Specter DR. 

Il calcio telescopico è del tipo Crane, ed ospita le batterie dedicate già utilizzate per il SOPMOD (qui si può leggerne la recensione). Anche la meccanica usata da Marui è quella, collaudata, dei SOCOM e SOPMOD.

La confezione comprende due outer barrel, che permettono di simulare le canne da 11 e da 16 pollici. 

The telescoping stock is of the Crane type, and houses the dedicated batteries already used for the SOPMOD (here you can read the review). The mechanism used by Marui it is the tested one of  SOCOM and SOPMOD AEG. The package includes two outer barrel, to simulate the 11 and 16 inches barrels. 

Alcune novità sono presenti anche sulla confezione, che presenta due interessanti adesivi.

Il primo ricorda che la Marui ha licenza di utilizzare i marchi ed i simboli Colt e Daniel Defense solo negli USA, in Cina ed in Giappone, per cui i modelli in vendita in Italia ne sono privi.

Some features are also present on the packaging, which has two interesting stickers. The first points out that the Marui is licensed to use the Colt and Daniel Defense marks and symbols only in the U.S., China and Japan, for which models on sale in Italy do not bear them. 

Il secondo porta la sigla ISGK (Impact Sports Game Kingdom); si tratta di una organizzazione autodefinentesi non profit, che funge da raccordo fra i produttori di ASG e le case armiere per l’impiego di loghi e marchi.

La sigla ricorda molto quella della gilda giapponese ASGK, Airsoft Gun Kai.

The second marked ISGK (Impact Sports Game Kingdom): it is a self called non-profit organization, which acts as a link between the manufacturers of ASG and gunsmith houses for the use of logos and brands.
