Caracal pistol

La Caracal (il nome è quello di una lince africana) è la prima pistola semiautomatica interamente concepita e costruita negli Emirati Arabi Uniti.
L'arma è fabbricata dalla Caracal International LLC di Abu Dhabi, ed è stata progettata da Wilhelm Bubits, già ideatore assieme all'ingegnere Gaston Glock, delle pistole austriache Glock.
The Caracal (the name is that of an African lynx) it is the first semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured entirely in the UAE.
The weapon is manufactured by Caracal International LLC, Abu Dhabi, and it was designed by Wilhelm Bubits, former designer, with the engineer Gaston Glock, of the Austrian Glock pistols.

Inizialmente, le pistole Caracal sono offerte sul mercato in due diversi formati: Caracal F (Full Size) e Caracal C (Compact).
La Caracal SC (subcompactè stato lanciato all'IDEX di Abu Dhabi nel 2009, e rappresenta il terzo figlio di questa famiglia.

Quest'arma dal design particolare e dalle caratteristiche ultramoderne per il momento è assente dal panorama delle ASG; ma possiamo sperare che qualche produttore intenda riprodurla. quale alternativa all'ennesima 1911 o 2011, per proporre una valida replica da backup.
