L’arma vera

La Casa d’Armi Beretta ha saputo raggiungere nell’ultimo quarto del secolo scorso una posizione di rilievo fra i produttori di pistole automatiche.
La famiglia di armi 92 - M9, apparsa negli anni ‘70, ha ottenuto un rilevante successo di commesse sia in ambito militare che di polizia; ancora oggi costituisce un punto di riferimento per il settore.

Costruita interamente in metallo, anche se con impiego di lega leggera, la serie partita con la 92 ha saputo distaccarsi dalla prevalente scelta tecnica del sistema Browning  modificato a canna oscillante, impiegando una chiusura a blocco cadente. La sua evoluzione, oggetto di alcune note già apparse su ASC (clicca qui per leggerehttp://www.airsoftcommunity.it/it/repor ... ga-25-anni ), non si è ancora arrestata, ma la società bresciana ha visto nel frattempo emergere una nuova generazione di armi, il cui elemento comune più rilevante è l’impiego esteso di materiale sintetico.

 

Adeguandosi alle nuove richieste del mercato, la Beretta ha presentato nel 2004 una sua pistola semiautomatica: la Px4 Storm. 

Dico subito che la sigla Px4 indica la possibilità di utilizzare quattro calibri differenti (9x19mm NATO, 9x21mm , .40S&W e .45 ACP), mentre la parola Storm ne indica l’appartenenza alla famiglia di armi così denominata, caratterizzata dall’impiego di materiali e tecnologie avanzate, e che comprende anche la carabina Cx4, il fucile a canna rigata  Rx4 (ora prodotto come Benelli M1) ed il fucile a canna liscia Tx4. 

 

La nuova arma ha visto lavorare sul progetto uno staff interno alla ditta gardonese, diretto dall'Ingegner. Eugenio Righi, in collaborazione con I. Turla (direttore sezione prototipi Beretta) e con M. Micheletti (responsabile vendite settore Difesa), con una partecipazione del tutto straordinaria: quella dello studio di design di Giorgio Giugiaro, che ha curato l’ergonomia e la funzionalità delle forme.

The Casa d'Armi Beretta it has been able to reach in the last quarter of the past century a prominent position among the manufacturers of automatic pistols.
The family of 92 - M9 weapons, which appeared in the 70s, scored a major achievement to be committed by the military and police, and still represents a benchmark for the industry.Made entirely of metal, but with use of light alloy, the series started by the 92 M9 has been able to break away from the prevailing technical choice of Browning modified swinging barrel system, using a falling block locking. Its evolution, that has been the subject of some notes already appeared on ASC (click here to read it http://www.airsoftcommunity.it/it/repor ... ga-25-anni ), has not yet been arrested, but the Brescia company has seen in the meantime the emerging of a new generation of weapons, whose common element it is the extensive use of synthetic material.

 

 

 

 

 Attualmente la Px4 è realizzata in quattro varianti dimensionali: 

• Px4 Full

• Px4 SD (Special Duty), nel solo calibro .45 ACP, con dimensioni analoghe alla full e canna leggermente prolungata

• Px4 Compact, con dimensioni ridotte

• Px4 Subcompact, con dimensioni ulteriormente ridotte.

 

Sono inoltre possibili alcune combinazioni di funzionamento:
Type C "Constant action" - Funzionamento in semi doppia azione. Cane interno, e sicura/abbatticane assente. Sicura automatica sul percussore.
Type D - Funzionamento in sola doppia azione. Cane interno, e sicura/abbatticane assente. Sicura automatica sul percussore.
Type F - Funzionamento a doppia e singola azione. È dotata di una sicura manuale su entrambi i lati del carrello, con funzione di abbattimento cane, e sicura automatica sul percussore per evitare spari accidentali in caso di cadute o sollecitazioni.
Type G - Funzionamento a doppia e singola azione. La sicura è sostituita da una leva manuale su entrambi i lati del carrello con la sola funzione di abbattimento cane e di ritorno della leva in posizione di arma pronta, come nel Tipo F è presente una sicura automatica sul percussore.

 

La Px4 ha il fusto in poliammide 12, un policarbonato rinforzato da fibre di vetro. Rimangono in metallo il carrello e la canna, oltre alla maggior parte delle componenti meccaniche. 

Il sistema di chiusura in uso sulle versioni SD, Full e Compact è definito a canna roto - traslante.  
Dopo lo sparo, la canna ed il carrello,  uniti per mezzo di due tenoni di chiusura, arretrano insieme per un breve tratto.  
Per effetto di una camma, la canna ruota sul suo asse sino a svincolare i tenoni, ed a separarsi dal carrello, che prosegue il movimento retrogrado, ed è quindi spinto nuovamente in avanti dalla molla di recupero. In questa fase avvengono l’espulsione del bossolo ed il caricamento di una nuova cartuccia. 

 

 Currently, the Px4 it is made in four different sizes:

 

 

• Px4 Full 
Px4 SD (Special Duty), only in .45 ACP caliber, with a similar size to the full, but having the barrel slightly prolonged

 

• Px4 Compact, with small size

Px4 subcompact, with further reduced size.

 

There are also some possible combinations of operating system:
Type C “Constant action” - Operating in semi double action. Internal hammer, and safe / decocker absent. Firing pin block safety
Type D - Double action only (DAO) operating. Internal hammer, and safe / decocker absent. Firing pin block safety.
Type F - double and single action operation. It has a manual safety on both sides of the slide, doubled with the function of decocker, and automatic firing pin block safety
Type G - double and single action. The safety is replaced by a manual lever on both sides of the slide, with the sole purpose of decocker. As in Type F, there is an firing pin block safety.

 

The Px4 frame it is made by polyamide 12, a polycarbonate reinforced with glass fibers. It will remains by metal the barrel and slide, as well as most of the mechanical components.

The locking system used on the SD, Full and Compact versions, it is defined roto – translating barrel.
After firing, the barrel and slide, retreat together for a short distance combined by two closing tenons.As a result of a cam, the barrel rotates on its axis until the release of the tenon, and separate from the slide, which continues the retrograde motion, and is then pushed forward again by the recoil spring. In this period will happens the expulsion of the spent cartridge case and the loading a new cartridge.

 

 

 

 

 Fra i vantaggi di questa soluzione meccanica, vi è il costante allineamento fra canna ed arma, con migliore precisione e controllabilità. 

La variante Subcompact impiega una meccanica di tipo Browning modificata.
Altre caratteristiche di rilievo sono:
- il dorso dell’impugnatura mobile e sostituibile, fornito in tre misure 
- la presenza della rail Picatinny sotto il dust cover
- le tacche di mira con riferimenti per il puntamento istintivo, realizzati con una sostanza luminescente battezzata Superluminova.

 

La Px4 ha appena cominciato la sua carriera, ed ha trovato una buona accoglienza sia sul mercato civile, che fra le forze di polizia.  

Il contratto più prestigioso se lo è assicurato con la Royal Canadian Mounted Police, le leggendarie giubbe rosse protagoniste di tanti racconti e film d’avventura.

 La replica di Tokyo Marui 

La casa produttrice nipponica aveva annunciato sin dal 2008 l’arrivo di una replica ispirata all’ultima pistola creata dalla Beretta, presentandone un mock up al Tokyo Hobby Show. Dopo due anni, la promessa si è mutata in realtà.
Il modello è arrivato ai negozi, e sembra destinato a lasciare il segno, date le caratteristiche meccaniche e la fedeltà al funzionamento dell’originale con cui è stato realizzato. 
A ciò contribuisce la scelta della versione F, di cui sono replicate tutte le funzioni, come non è avvenuto ad esempio per la 92 - M9 della stessa Marui.

 

Mi tolgo subito il sassolino dalla scarpa, dicendo che avrei preferito la versione SD, analoga alla F, ma pensata per uso militare e con un occhio di riguardo per le forze speciali. La differenza è nel colore del fusto (sabbia anziché nero) e nella canna lunga 115 anziché 102 mm.  
Chissà che non giunga quale futura versione custom, come del resto sembra stia diventando politica usuale di Marui. 

 

A questo punto è mio dovere e piacere informare che la pistola oggetto di queste righe è stata resa disponibile dalla cortesia di Graziano, il titolare del negozio SAS Modellismo (http://www.sasmodellismo.com/). 

 

La confezione è nello standard, con contenitore in polistirolo e coperchio in cartone. La grafica è contenuta nell’impatto, giocata su colori chiari ed indicazioni relativamente scarse. 

La dotazione interna è particolarmente ricca. 

 

 The Tokyo Marui reproduction 

The Japanese manufacturer since 2008 it had announced the arrival of a replica inspired by the Beretta last created pistol, presenting a mock-up at Tokyo Hobby Show. After two years, the promise has turned into reality.The model arrived in stores, and it seems able to leave its mark, due to the mechanical characteristics and fidelity to the original operation system with which it was made.This is aided by the choice of the F version, of which it replicated all the functions, such as has not happened for the same Marui 92 - M9.

I take off once the pebble in the shoe, saying that I would have preferred the SD version, similar to F, but designed for military use and with an eye for special forces. The difference stood for the frame colour (sand instead of black) and for a 115 instead of 102 mm long barrel.Who knows it this one will comes as a future custom version, as indeed seems to be making usual Marui policy.
 
At this point it is my duty and pleasure to inform you that the gun object of these lines was made available by the courtesy of Graziano, the SAS Modellismo airsoft shop owner. (http://www.sasmodellismo.com/).

The package it is on standard, with a polystyrene container and cardboard lid. The graphics are contained in the impact, played on light colours and relatively scarce signs.The inner equipment is particularly rich.

 

 

 

 

 Come d’uso per Marui, la carta abbonda. Oltre al manuale in giapponese, vi sono una vista in esploso con elenco delle parti (da studiare, per ammirare la complessità meccanica di questa replica), il consueto foglio di raccomandazioni sugli usi impropri. la cartolina di garanzia, alcuni bersagli ed una brochure col catalogo 2011.

Gli accessori comprendono due dorsalini di diversa misura per l’impugnatura, un sacchettino di pallini, uno scovolino, un tappo rosso in gomma e due minuscole parti da installare nel caricatore  per il tiro in bianco.

 How usually happens with Marui, the paper abounds.  Le componenti strutturali della PX4 (fusto, carrello ed outer barrel) sono in materiale sintetico: sembra che dal produttore nipponico sia stato impiegato un nuovo e più resistente materiale, il policarbonato. 

La finitura della superficie è opaca per il carrello e semi opaca per il fusto e l’impugnatura.
Impugnando la PX4 si percepisce una superficie ruvida, che aiuta a mantenere la corretta presa.
La lavorazione è molto buona, coi dettagli molto netti sia in rilievo che in incisione, e questo vale anche per scritte e marchi.

 The structural components of the PX4 (frame, slide and outer barrel) are made by plastic: it seems that the Japanese manufacturer has been used a new, more resistant material, the polycarbonate.The surface finish it is opaque on the slide and semi-opaque on frame and handle.Holding the PX4 you feel a rough surface, which helps to maintain the correct grip.The workmanship is very good, with very sharp details on relief and engraving, and this also applies to markings.

 

 

 

 

Sul fusto risulta evidente la linea di giunzione fra gli stampi, del resto  presente anche sull’arma vera.

Il dettaglio delle parti è di alta classe. Gli intagli di presa anteriori e posteriori sul carrello sono corretti per numero e dimensioni, e tutte le componenti minori, a partire dal grilletto, hanno forma e dimensioni corrette. 

 

Le dimensioni ed il peso che ho rilevato sono questi: 

lunghezza 192 mm 
altezza 137 mm 
peso a vuoto 569 grammi 
peso con caricatore e dorsalino large 836 grammi 

 

 On the frame there is a clear seam between the dies joint, as like as on the true weapon.The detail of the parts is top class. The front and rear slide serrations are corresponding in number and size, and all the minor components, starting from the trigger, have the correct size and shape.

The size and weight that I have found are these:
length 192 mm
height 137 mm
empty weight of 569 grams
weight, with magazine and large backstrap 836 grams

 La tacca di mira ed il mirino sono del tipo fisso, realizzati in metallo, e fissato al carrello mediante incastri a coda di rondine. Il loro profilo è basso, per favorire porto ed estrazione, mentre l’allineamento sul bersaglio è reso più facile sia dalle dimensioni generose che dai tre punti bianchi di riferimento. Nella vera Px4 per questi è utilizzata la vernice luminescente Superluminova, mentre il modello Marui ha normale colore bianco. 

 

 The front and rear sight sight are fixed, made of metal and dovetailed to the slide. Their profile is low, minded for carrying and extraction, while the alignment on the target is made easier both by their generous dimensions and by the three white reference points. In true Px4 for these it is used Superluminova glowing paint, but the Marui model has normal white colour. 

 

 

 

 

 

 Il carrello si caratterizza per una sagoma svasata verso l’avanti, per un profilo robusto, e per l’ampia svasatura della finestra di espulsione. Sui fianchi sono presenti degli intagli di presa anteriori e posteriori, per agevolare sia il caricamento che l’esame della camera di scoppio (o meglio della camera del pallino, nel nostro caso…). Sono stati riprodotti fedelmente in bassorilievo sia i perni che il braccio dell’estrattore.  

Esaminandolo attentamente, si nota la traccia dell’albero di stampaggio sul bordo superiore della finestra di espulsione. Questo credo significhi che, grazie ad una tecnica particolarmente raffinata, la giunzione fra gli stampi corre lungo il bordo, e quindi non ci sono punti di frattura nel corpo del carrello.  

 The slide features for a flared shape towards the front, a rugged profile, and the wide flare of the ejection port. On the sides there are a front and rear copy of slide serrations, to facilitate both loading and inspect the feeding chamber (or BB chamber, in our case ...). It has been faithfully reproduced in bas-relief the pins and the extractor arm.

Examining it carefully, you notice the track of a shaft molding on the top edge of the ejection port. I think this means that, thanks to a particularly refined technic, the junction between the moulds runs along the edges, and then there are no points of fracture in the slide body.

 

 

 

 

 Il fusto ha un dust cover squadrato, che appare massiccio anche per il rail milstd 1913 integrale. In corrispondenza del grilletto sono praticate due svasature, che favoriscono l’inserimento del dito. Questi due particolari danno l’impressione che la Px4 sia sbilanciata in avanti, mentre nella replica Marui la distribuzione del peso la sento neutra, e semmai concentrata nell’impugnatura.

 

La guardia del grilletto è arrotondata ed ampia, consentendo di usare la Px4 anche con mani guantate. 
Il rail è largo i prescritti 21 millimetri, ha una lunghezza di 48 millimetri, ed un singolo intaglio trasversale di 5 millimetri, posto alla stessa distanza dalla sua parte frontale. Ne ho provato le dimensioni installando senza difficoltà una torcia tattica Swiss Army. 

 

 The frame it has a squared dust cover, which looks solid also for the milstd 1913rail. Over the trigger are applied two flares, which foster the finger insertion during the extraction. These two parts give the impression that the Px4 it is forward biased, while in the Marui reproduction I feel the weight distribution neutral, and rather concentrated into the grip.

The trigger guard is rounded and wide, allowing you to use the Px4 even with gloved hands.The rail is off the required 21 mm, with a length of 48 mm, and a single transverse slot of 5 mm, at the same distance from its front. I tried the dimensions by installing without difficulty a Swiss Army tactical flashlight.

 

 

 L’impugnatura ha fronte e dorso zigrinati a diamante, oltre a delle linee di presa laterali. Il dorsalino è amovibile, e fornito in tre misure. Personalmente, ho trovato la misura large più confortevole ed efficace. 

La sostituzione dei dorsalini sulla PX4 di Tokyo Marui è decisamente più semplice che non sulla omonima e vera prodotta dalla Beretta. Per sbloccarli, basta premere un pulsante alla base dell’impugnatura e tirarli verso l’indietro. Quanto sono montati li trattengono saldamente una serie di incastri, ed un dente di risalto metallico.

 The grip it has a diamond checkered front and back, as well as side-lines. The back-straps are removable and comes in three sizes. Personally, I found the large size the most comfortable and effective.The replacement of the back-straps on PX4 Tokyo Marui it is much easier than on the real produced by the Beretta. To unlock it, simply press a button at the bottom of the grip and pull it backwards. When mounted, they are securely detained by a number of joints, and a metal tooth. 

 

 

 

 

 Il cane è in metallo, del tipo alleggerito e con rigature per favorire la presa del pollice. 

La leva dell’hold open è realizzata in fusione, con una forma complessa e una buona superficie d’appoggio ottenuta senza creare un elemento particolarmente sporgente.

 The lightened hammer it is made by metal, and it has grooves on the spur to facilitate the taking of the thumb.The hold open lever it is cast made, with a complex shape and good bearing surface obtained without creating it particularly prominent.

 

 

 

 Sui fianchi del carrello sono presenti due leve con funzioni di sicurezza e di abbattimento del cane; la loro posizione ed angolatura sono tali da prevenire un inserimento involontario durante l’arretramento del carrello, ed anzi sono pensate quali punti di presa per le dita nello scarrellamento.

Il dispositivo, attuato mediante due componenti eccentriche, funziona in questo modo: 
a) ruotando verso il basso le leve a cane abbattuto si disconnette la catena di scatto, e per rendere la pistola pronta al tiro si devono ruotare nuovamente verso l’alto 

b) ruotando verso il basso le leve a cane armato, il cane si abbatte senza che parta il colpo. Mantenendo la leva abbassata la pistola è nella condizione appena descritta.  

 

 On the sides of the slide there are two levers with safety and decocking features. Their position and angle are such as to prevent inadvertent switching during the racking, and indeed are intended as support points for the finger grip.

The device, implemented through two eccentric components, works in this way:a) having the hammer cocked, and turning down the levers the shooting chain is disconnected. To make the gun ready to fire in double action mode, you must turn again the lever to the topb) being the hammer cocked and turning down the lever, the hammer it is uncocke trigger is pulled without the trigger. With the lever lowered the gun is in the condition described above.

 

 

 

 

 Nella replica sono presenti due ulteriori elementi di sicurezza. 

Il primo è la mezza monta del cane, che comunque non disconnette lo scatto e non impedisce il tiro in doppia azione.

Secondo elemento è l’interruzione della catena di scatto quando carrello e fusto non sono perfettamente allineati in chiusura.

 

 In his reply, there are two additional security features.The first is the hammer half-cocking, which still does not prevent the shot in double action mode.The second element it is the breaking of the shooting chain when slide and frame are not perfectly aligned or closed.

 

 

 

 

 Le leve di scomposizione presenti su ambo i lati del fusto, alla radice della guardia del grilletto, sono le estremità di una barretta metallica che trattiene uniti il fusto stesso ed il carrello. 

Il pulsante di sgancio del caricatore è di dimensioni ridotte e con testa zigrinata; si tratta di una scelta fatta già nell’arma vera per impedire che sia azionato involontariamente. Il pulsante di sgancio del caricatore, a differenza della “real steel”, non è reversibile.

Nella PX4 di Marui è possibile tarare l’hop up senza bisogno di scomporre la pistola, o di fare ricorso a qualche attrezzo particolare. 
Il pressore, meccanicamente analogo a quello installato sulla serie 1911, è stato collegato a due ingranaggi posti sul fianco sinistro del gruppo hop up, ed è possibile regolarlo arretrando completamente il carrello, entrando con un dito dalla finestra di espulsione, ed azionando la rotellina grigia. Ruotandola verso l’alto, si aumenta l’effetto, mentre nel verso contrario lo si attenua. 

Nel compiere questa manovra, occorre trattenere saldamente il carrello, perché non si richiuda ferendo il dito. 

 

 The breakdown levers on both sides of the frame, at the root of the trigger guard, are the tips of a metal rod that holds together the frame and the slide.The magazine release button is small and thumbscrews, and this is a choice already made on the real gun, to prevent it from being operated unintentionally. The magazine release button, unlike the real steel, it is irreversible.

In the PX4 Marui is possible to set the hop up without breaking down the gun, or make use of some special tools.The gear it is mechanically similar to the one installed on the series 1911, but has been linked to two gears placed on the left side of the hop up, and you can adjust it by pulling completely back the slide, and coming in with a finger from the ejection port, by pressing the gray scroll wheel. Turning it up, you increase the effect, while in the other direction decreases.In performing this manoeuvre, you must hold firmly the slide, because it will not close again injuring the finger.

 

 

 

 

 La scomposizione da campo della PX4 non presenta alcuna difficoltà, e segue la sequenza ben nota a chiunque possieda una Glock GBB, ma senza che occorra armare il cane, e neppure avendo il patema del Glock Lock.

 The field breakdown of the PX4 is not difficult, and follows the sequence familiar to anyone who owns a Glock GBB, but with no need to cock the hammer, and not having the worry of the Glock Lock.The images reflect it best of my words. 

 

 

 Passando alla meccanica, la considerazione di base riguarda la capacità dimostrata da Marui nel far convivere le componenti funzionali al tiro con quelle che riproducono la dinamica di funzionamento dell’arma vera, rendendole interoperanti ma non interdipendenti.

Il corpo della Marui PX4 è formato da due parti primarie: i gusci in plastica di fusto e carrello, ed una armatura metallica che contiene le parti meccaniche e sopporta quasi tutte le sollecitazioni durante il tiro. Il tutto è solidamente congegnato ed assemblato. 

 

 Turning to the mechanics, the basic consideration concerns the Marui capacity to combine the functional components with those that reproduce the dynamics of the real steel operating, and make them interoperable, but not interdependent.

The body of the Marui PX4 consists of two main parts: the frame and slide plastic shells, and a metal frame that contains the mechanical parts and withstands almost all of the stresses during the shot. Everything is solidly crafted and assembled.

 

 

 

 

 L’inner barrel è in ottone, lunga circa 85 millimetri, e con un diametro interno alla bocca di 6,082 millimetri. Da ammirare la perfetta svasatura alla sua bocca.

Il gruppo hop up è in metallo, fissato alla outer barrel da un fermo circolare in plastica. 
L’outer barrel è in materiale plastico, ed è del tutto libera rispetto all’inner barrel, che le scorre all’interno. 

Il gruppo formato da molla, guidamolla, ammortizzatore anteriore e blocco di rotazione è estremamente realistico, se confrontato con l’originale, e pure notevolmente complesso.

A completare il tutto, il pistone del gruppo gas è di tipo maggiorato, e offre una sensazione di rinculo forte, secca e decisa.

 Il caricatore ha il corpo in metallo, col pad ed il gruppo di chiusura superiore un plastica. Il materiale usato per questo ultimo elemento aumenta le probabilità di danneggiamento in caso di urto o caduta, e quindi impone un maneggio cauto, evitando anche le ricariche tattiche.

La valvola di rifornimento è a singola guarnizione, applicata sul fondello mobile fissato da una vite che sembra caratterizzi l’ultima produzione Marui. La soluzione costruttiva è interessante, rispetto ai perni passanti usuali, permettendo di compensare eventuali perdite di gas con qualche giro di cacciavite, od al peggio con la sostituzione della guarnizione interna.

  Il serbatoio bifilare anteriore ospita 24 BB, che vanno inseriti utilizzando uno slargo nella feritoia. Una soluzione rapida, efficace e che non richiede speciali attrezzi, se non uno speed loader. 

Nella confezione sono forniti anche due piccoli accessori per una sorta di tiro in bianco. Installandone uno nel serbatoio dei pallini, è possibile sparare anche col caricatore vuoto, senza che si ingaggi l’hold open.

 Passiamo al funzionamento.

Maneggiando la PX4, si sente inizialmente una certa rigidezza nel funzionamento, che con l’uso scompare, e secondo me testimonia la qualità delle quote di costruzione, che la rendono praticamente esente da giochi fra le parti.
In particolare, il ritorno in avanti del carrello conosce un punto morto a circa un terzo della sua corsa. La cosa non crea alcun problema di funzionamento durante il tiro, ed avviene solo se durante lo scarrellamento si accompagna il ritorno in batteria.

 Impugnare la Marui Px4 significa, grazie all’impegno congiunto di Beretta e Giugiaro, poter fruire di uno fra i più recenti ed efficaci studi di ergonomia applicata alle pistole automatiche. 

Avendo una mano medio grande, vi ho adattato l’impugnatura applicando il dorsalino large, ed il feeling è stato immediato. 

 

Presa nella mano la replica, la trovo immediatamente in asse con il mio avambraccio, ed anche l’angolo dell’impugnatura porta ad un istintivo allineamento delle mire. 

Ruotando il pollice, incontro senza cambiare impugnatura la sicura, l’hold open e lo sgancio del caricatore, e li aziono senza difficoltà, ma senza rischio di manovre involontarie. Il pollice steso normalmente è ben sopra allo sgancio del caricatore, e solo una azione volontaria può portare al suo impiego.

 Il grilletto è del tipo oscillante e di forma semilunata. La superficie d’appoggio per il dito è liscia, e tende leggermente a lasciarlo scivolare.

La corsa del grilletto, trattandosi di un meccanismo a doppia azione, è abbastanza lunga, e complessivamente è pari a 25 millimetri. 
Nel tiro a doppia azione l’ingaggio dello scatto avviene dopo 8 millimetri, ed il suo rilascio dopo altri 11. 
Dopo l’ingaggio, premendo il grilletto per altri 2 millimetri, il cane si porta sulla mezza monta.
La singola azione ha una corsa di 14 millimetri. L’ingaggio dello scatto avviene dopo 6 millimetri, ed il rilascio dopo 12. 

In entrambe le modalità l’azione opera in modo molto regolare, senza rugosità, e con uno sforzo contenuto. Questo rende quasi inesistente il collasso di retroscatto.

Le mire sono ben proporzionate, e aiutano sia nel tiro mirato che in quello rapido. Non essendo possibile regolarle, almeno alle brevi distanze esiste uno scarto fra punto mirato ed area di impatto dei BB. 

 

 The trigger it is of the oscillating type and it have a crescent form. The surface for the finger is smooth, and tends to let it slip slightly.The stroke of the trigger, being this a double action mechanism, it is quite long, with a total amounts of 25 mm.In double action, having the trigger runned 8 millimeters, it will meet the mechanism and start to cock the hammer. After other 2 milliters the hammer reach the half cocked position, and running for 9 more, it will be full cocked and released.The single action has a stroke of 14 mm. The engagement takes place after 6 mm, and the release after 12.In both modes, the action works very smoothly, free of roughness, and with a little effort. This makes it almost non-existent the after shooting collapse.

The sights are well proportioned, and help both fast and aimed shooting. Since you can not regulate them, at least at short distances there is a gap between point of aim and impact area of the BB.

 

 

 

 

 Nel tiro, il rinculo è deciso, e richiede un buon controllo della replica, pur percependo la minore massa e maggiore elasticità del carrello in materia plastica. 

La potenza erogata è allineata allo standard Tokyo Marui.
Utilizzando Green Gas, con temperatura ambientale di 15 gradi centigradi e BB da 0,20, al cronografo Madbull mod. 1 ho avuto queste letture, in metri al secondo.

 Il raffreddamento del caricatore, in questa come nelle altre prove, è stato sensibile, ma non ha portato ad un mancato funzionamento. La stessa casa produttrice credo, tentando di interpretare una fra le immagini del manuale, consigli di riscaldare il caricatore tenendolo fra le mani.

L’hop up mi è parso abbastanza efficace, ma con una corsa eccessiva. Portandolo alla massima strozzatura, il BB si è bloccato nella camera di tiro.  
Ho notato che col pallino in canna non ne sono stati caricati altri. 

Con l’hop up in posizione intermedia, le serie di tiri si sono susseguite regolarmente, e l’hold open ha ingaggiato senza problemi il carrello una volta che terminavano le munizioni. 

 

La precisione della Tokyo Marui PX4 merita un solo aggettivo: superiore. 

Nel test a quattro metri, dieci pallini hanno prodotto un solo foro, largo 10 millimetri ed alto 22 (ma l’errore verticale è tutto mio), e probabilmente mirando meglio l’ovale diventa un cerchio. Uno fra i migliori risultati, se non il migliore, che mi sia mai capitato di avere con una replica appena uscita dalla scatola e con inner barrel di media lunghezza.

The accuracy of Tokyo Marui PX4 deserves one word: superior.In the test to four meters, ten shots have produced just one hole, 10 mm wide and 22 high (vertical but the error is all mine), and probably by better targeting the oval will becomes a circle. One of the best results, if not the better, that I have ever had with a replica just come out of the box, and with medium-length inner barrel.

 

 

 La differenza fra il punto mirato e il centro dell’area colpita dai BB è inesistente in orizzontale, e di circa 5 centimetri in verticale. Probabilmente le mire della PX4 sono azzerate a 10 metri.  

Posso solo sperare che nel futuro siano disponibili quali parti custom delle mire regolabili, che renderebbero questo modello un perfetto ferro da tiro.

 The difference between the aiming point and the center of the area hit by the BB’s does not exist in horizontally, and vertically it stands for about 5 cm.  Tirando le somme, la Tokyo Marui con la PX4 (grazie anche a quanto già aveva fatto la Beretta per la sua real steel) ha realizzato un prodotto di altissima qualità. 

I piccoli nei estetici scompaiono, di fronte alla complessità strutturale ed all’efficacia funzionale del risultato.

Certamente questa pistola ha in plastica alcune parti, come il carrello e l’outer barrel, che oramai si usa produrre in metallo; ma l’impressione è che non le nuoccia affatto. Sono certo che entro breve le custom parts a lei dedicate ci saranno, e numerose.

 

La PX4 di Tokyo Marui è adatta ad ogni possibile impiego, dal plinking all’airsoft, e sino all’addestramento professionale. 

A mio avviso, con questo suo prodotto, Marui ha posto un’altra pietra miliare nel mondo delle ASG. E guai al barattolo che si trova allineato col suo mirino!
