Don't let make you misunderstood by the name: it's not a Harness System as the last word should means, It's a complete vest system. Any other classification you want to apply to this item, it's wrong. If you want to describe it shortly, you can say that it's a mix between a Load Bearing Vest like a SOE and a Padded Belt like ISSAK of BlackHawk or 1195 of London Bridge Trading; a LBV with a Cummerbund. Prodotto dalla Diamond Back Tactical, il Battle Lab H-Harness rappresenta una vera novità nel settore per la sua forma completamente diversa da ogni altro gibernaggio. Essenzialmente si tratta di un enorme cinturone lombare imbottito attorno al quale è costruito tutto il sistema. Alle estremità del cinturone, nella parte frontale, ci sono due lembi pettorali curvi per aumentare la superficie di pals da poter utilizzare, forma caratteristica dei LBV della SOE. Sulla parte superiore dei pettorali una larga striscia di nylon collega gli spallacci, molto ben imbottiti e coperti da due colonne di pals, che si agganciano con due strisce di nylon alla piastra quadrata posizionata sulla parte alta della schiena. La piastra si collega poi con tre strisce di nylon alla parte posteriore del cinturone lombare. Tutti i collegamenti fra le varie parti che compongono il sistema sono regolabili per garantire la massima adattabilità ad ogni corporatura. Il cinturone presenta tre file di pals, ed è composto da tre parti, le due laterali e la centrale posteriore. La parte centrale si inserisce all'interno delle parti laterali, estraendola quanto basta affinché il cinturone abbia la giusta lunghezza rispetto alla corporatura dell'operatore. Diversamente da quanto si vede nella foto di presentazione sul sito del produttore, il gibernaggio si chiude frontalmente tramite tre fastex, tutti regolabili da entrambi i lati. Made by Diamond Back Tactical, the Battle Lab H-Harness with his construction is a really good news in tactical equipment, absolutely like no other. Essentially it's a big padded belt around which is built all the tactical system. At sides of padded belt we can see two pectoral plates to add more pals area for pouches, typical design of LBV made by SOE. On the top of pectoral plates, a large nylon belt connect the very well padded harness, covered by two columns of pals, that are connected to the back plate by two nylon webbings. Three nylon webbings connect back plate to the central back side of padded belt. All webbings are completely adjustable to fit anybody. The mainly padded belt has three stripes of pals, and it's made-up by three parts, two side panels and the central back panel. The central panel fits into side panels to have the right width to fit the operator's waist. Differently from the photo on producer’s website, this vest can be closed frontally by three fastex buckles, all adjustable both sides.

 La fettuccia si chiude quindi con un bottone a pressione. Connected to the right side panel by a short lanyard, we can see the strong webbing that is fixed to pals of central back panel by MOLLE system, locking width of padded belt. Possiamo notare come il gibernaggio si adatti ottimamente anche a corporature non robuste, nonostante l'assenza di piastre balistiche. Conclusioni. Si tratta di un gibernaggio che lascia una buona libertà di movimento unitamente ad una considerevole capacità di carico. Caratteristiche che lo rendono perfettamente adatto all’impiego in operazioni recon, anche di tipo prolungato come le LRRP (long range recon patrol). La completa modulabilità permette di personalizzarlo al meglio secondo le esigenze dell’operatore, l’assenza di uno schienale invasivo consente di poter portare comodamente uno zaino. Il prezzo relativamente basso di 160 dollari e la qualità di questo prodotto lo rendono un acquisto consigliato a chi stesse cercando un gibernaggio di tipo LBV.
