MASSIF MOUNTAIN GEAR COMPANY – ACS (Army Combat Shirt)  La MASSIF ACS è costruita in tessuto completamente ignifugo (rispetta lo standard internazionale ASTM “F2302-03” per la resistenza alle fiamme libere), pur garantendo leggerezza e comfort propri dei capi per i climi caldi. La differenza più evidente rispetto alle uniformi “classiche” è la zona del torso, diversa rispetto al resto della giacca, poiché costituita in materiale ignifugo leggero e traspirante, detto “HALO” (realizzato e brevettato dalla MMGC), adatto ad essere portato al di sotto dei sistemi di protezione balistica, comunemente detti “body armor”. The MASSIF ACS is made in full flame-resistant materials (due to the ASTM "F2302-03" international standard about flame resistance) and assure the common lighweight and comfort of the combat-shirt for hot weather. The most important difference between this shirt and the "classic uniform" is the torso, different from the rest of the shirt because it's made in lightweigth and ultra-breathable flame-resistant material named "HALO" (made and patended by MMGC), right for under-armour use.  Sulle spalle e sul fianco della giacca non si trovano cuciture, questo per evitare irratazioni ed abrasioni in queste zone, molto comuni in chi porta per lungo tempo carichi gravosi. On the shoulder and on the sides of the shirt there are not seems to prevent irritations, and abrasions, common in this place when you carry heavy weight for long time.   Sulla manica sinistra troviamo una tasca portapenne, ne può alloggiare due, delle dimensioni di un pennarello a punta fine. On the left sleeve you can find a pen pocket which can carry 2 felt-tips.  Le tasche sugli omerali meriterebbero un premio per la realizzazione: complete, ben realizzate e di comodo accesso: The shoulder pockets are incredible: useful, well-made and with an easy access:  On the left there's a big hook-and-loop panel with an IR tab with its cover to use it for the identification "Friends or For". On the side there's the zippered access, treated to be flame-resistant.  On the right there are hook-and-loop bands for ID, nickname, grade, fun patch and other...  Il polsino ha una chiusura regolabile in velcro. The pocket are very roomy and you can use the to carry little items like flashlight, watch cap and other items you need to catch in little time. The sleeves have wrist cuffs adjustable for a customizable fit.  Il retro della giacca è del tutto simile alla parte frontale, con una bella sorpresa all'altezza dei gomiti: The back is like the front of the shirt, with a good surprive on the elbows:  La maglia è rinforzata internamente per incrementare la resistenza generale del prodotto. Integrated lightweight elbow pads with abrasion-resistant SuperFabric technology. The shirt has internal reinforce to increase its resistant.  Attualmente esistono due versioni di questa maglia. La prima è l'oggetto della recensione, la seconda è la dotazione regolamentare delle Forze Armate Americane, riportante la frase "ARMY STRONG" al di sotto del simbolo dell'Esercito Americano: At this moment there are 2 versions of this shirt. The first, object of this review, and the second supplied to the US Forces, with the phrase "ARMY STRONG" under the US Army symbol:  Inoltre sono già presenti diverse maglie simili ma senza trattamento antifiamma realizzate da altre società, quali la Tru-spec o copie di origine cinese, che chiaramente non sono realizzate con gli stessi standard e materiali. La conferma di autenticità del capo è data da questa etichetta: Beside, are available many combat-shirts like this, but without the flame-restistance, like by Tru-Spec or chinese-replica that have not the same features and quality. La prova  Considerando il prezzo di reperimento che si attesta sui 70$ circa su Ebay, questa Combat Shirt è un pezzo di equipaggiamento da avere, anche se, fortunatamente, nessun softgunner avrà mai da testare le doti ignifughe. This "test on field" has been done in June, with a temperature of 25°C. The setup (weared by my buddy Andy in the picture above) allowed me to apprecciate the movement comfort of the ACS, but not the breathable features that, probably for personal form, was not the best.
