HK 416 GFC ASCU
La replica oggetto della recensione ci è stata fornita da Gun Fire Company - GFC - casa polacca che abbiamo avuto di conoscere con la recensione dei nuovi pallini di sua produzione.
Infatti, la replica fotografata dietro la confezione di pallini, è proprio un HK 416 GFC in configurazione ASCU.
Di primo acchito può sembrare una comune riproduzione dello HK 416 fatta in Cina. Ma non è così.
Si tratta, infatti, di un fucile che nasce in Cina ma che la casa polacca GFC ha upgradato rendendola una replica di elevato contenuto tecnologico, mediante l’installazione nel suo Gear Box del sistema di controllo elettronico denominato ASCU, acronimo di Airsoft Smart Control Unit.
The Airsoftgun we are going to reviuw is a new product from Gun Fire Company - GFC - already known here in Airsoftcommunity for its new BBs.
The Airsofgun is a HK 416 in ASCU configuration.
At first sight, it may seem a common China made HK 416. But it is not!
It is a rifle made with chinese parts, but upgraded by GFC with european new technology, by installing in the Gear Box a electronic control system called ASCU, acronym of AirsoftSmart Control Unit .
La replica, che ci è stata fornita dalla polacca Gun Fure Company, di cui abbiamo già presentato i nuovi pallini.
Essa è contenuta in una scatola di cartone con imbottitura in schiuma.
Di primo acchito si capisce che il fucile ha origini Jing Gong, ma sui gusci sono stampati i loghi della GFC, che non sono per nulla male da vedere.
La confezione contiene, oltre al fucile, il caricatore maggiorato da trecento colpi, il caricabatteria e la batteria NiCd 9,6V 1500mAh Shuangbao. Infine, manuale d’istruzioni della replica e manuale d’istruzioni del circuito ASCU.

COSA E’ “ASCU”.
Il sistema ASCU gestisce il ciclo di sparo in modo tale che, ogni volta che viene rilasciato il grilletto interrompendo l’alimentazione al motore, il pistone si riposiziona sempre - sparando in semiauto o in full auto - in posizione di riposo, cioè con molla rilasciata e pistone in posizione avanzata.
Il circuito ASCU, inoltre, prevede:
- possibilità di selezionare il tiro a raffica controllata di tre colpi (three rounds burst) con il selettore posizionato su “auto”;
- protezione il motore e dalle variazioni di scarica delle batterie e segnala eventuali malfunzionamenti della meccanica mediante un cicalino avvisatore.
TEST REPLICA
La replica è stata prima di tutto sottoposta a verifica dell’energia prodotta mediante cronografo Laylax, sparando pallini del peso di 0,25 grammi. La media dei tiri si è attestata ad 1,35 Joules. La qual cosa rende la replica non utilizzabile sui campi di pratica del soft air italiani, dove vige il limite di 1 Joule.
Il fucile è stato provato sia con le batterie fornite di serie che con LiPo 11,1V 1600mAh 25C.
Le prove sono state eseguite alternando brevi raffiche a colpi singoli ripetuti in modo da stressare il più possibile il controller.
Collegando la batteria alla replica il circuito emette un breve suono attraverso il motore confermando il corretto stato della batteria.
Il grilletto è molto sensibile e i colpi partono rapidamente, conferendo al tiratore una sensazione di grande affidabilità.
Come scritto più sopra, al termine del ciclo di sparo, sia in singolo che a raffica, il pistone torna sempre in posizione di riposo. Non si avverte alcun movimento di ritorno alla fine del ciclo di sparo.
La funzione 3-round burst è interessante anche se non è propriamente istintivo ed agevole attivarla.
Infatti, per attivarla è necessario rilasciare il grilletto prima che vengano sparati tre colpi altrimenti la replica continuerà a funzionare in raffica normale. Per quanto comoda possa essere questa funzione, durante le prove è risultato non proprio facile attivarla per via della rapidità con cui i colpi partono anche con le batterie fornite di serie da cui non ci aspetterebbero grandi prestazioni.
Dopo aver stressato a dovere la replica sparando diversi caricatori da trecento colpi, si è verificato lo stato del che pur riscaldandosi non poco, non raggiunge temperature tanto elevate da pregiudicare il circuito e le sue componenti.
VEDIAMO COME E’ FATTO ASCU
La parte esterna del circuito ASCU la troviamo una volta aperto il tappo del calcio della replica. Il circuito non è propriamente “compatto”.
WHAT '"ASCU" IS?
The ASCU controller manages firing cycle so that each time the trigger is released cutting power to the engine, the piston always returns - shooting in full auto or semi-auto - at rest position, i.e. spring released and piston in the forward position.
The ASCU controller also provides:
- Ability to select the shooting in three rounds bursts with the selector set to "auto";
- Protection from current over charges to the engine and bad battery use. An alarm buzzer reports any mechanical failure.
TEST
The first, the energy produced by the ASG was verified with a Laylax chronograph, shooting 0.25 grams BBs: the ASG shots at 1.35 Joules.
In Italy ASG producing more than 1Joule Energy are not allowed.
The rifle has been tested with both the 9.6 battery pack and with LiPo 1600mAh 11.1 V 25C pack from Action Batteries Italian manufacturer.
The tests were performed by alternating short bursts in single strokes to repeated stress as much as possible the controller.
Connecting the battery to the replica, controller emits a short beep through the engine confirming the correct status of the battery.
The trigger is very sensitive and fast shots are fired, giving the shooter a feeling of reliability.
As noted above, at the end of the firing, in both single burst, the piston always returns to rest position.
Do not feel any movement back to the end of their shot.
Three round bursts is interesting but not really instinctive and easy to activate.
In fact, to activate it you must release the trigger before three BBs are shoted, otherwise the replica will continue to operate in the normal burst.
After having stressed the Airsoftgun with several high cap. magazines, we verified the heat conditions of the controller. In fact, we found the controller quite warm but not enaugh to damage the components.

Per lo smontaggio della replica, si procede con in qualsiasi fucile della serie Colt.
Estratto dal receiver, possiamo smontare il Gear Box per comprendere quale tecnologia e quale sforzo progettuale caratterizzano il Controller ASCU.

Infatti, esternamente, troviamo un circuito protetto da termorestringente da cui esce della civetteria che potrebbe ricordare gli ormai diffusi circuiti ROF Controller.
Ma il cuore del sistema ASCU è dove nelle repliche normali troveremmo l’interruttore azionato dal grilletto tradizionale.
Questo è completamente sostituito da una “sensor unit” dell’intero circuito.

CONCLUSIONI, NON DEFINITIVE.
La replica offre delle caratteristiche molto interessanti come il controllo del ciclo di sparo che permette di mantenere sempre in posizione di riposo molla e pistone con conseguenti benefici meccanici dell’intero gear box, la sensibilità del grilletto è molto buona e il feeling generale è molto buono.
Un punto negativo per la funzione di raffica controllata perchè particolarmente difficile da sfruttare. Un’altra piccola pecca è stata riscontrata nella lunghezza del cavo nero che va dal controller al motore, più lungo di circa 4 centimetri al cavo rosso.
In complesso una buona soluzione che porta una ventata di aria fresca in un mercato ormai stagnante e scarso di prodotti innovativi.
Solo un intensivo impiego in azione potrà dimostrare la validità della nuova tecnologia ASCU e della coraggiosa iniziativa dei GFC.

AT THE END, FOR THE MOMENT:
